It was about two minutes by bus from Burnford Fi and three minutes by tube from Hammersmith. We booked a Melanie by Sara, but Sara hotels actually have a number of properties along Shepherds Bush Road, and you check in to Hellenic. Our room was then a couple of doors down the street in Sara, with the Royal breakfast room next door. The room was small, but adequate for our needs a weekend trip to the football and some christmas markets with a double bed and a tiny en suite bathroom with a toilet, shower, and wash basin. The unlit corridor that was a distant member of the room had a sofa and closet. Breakfast was a case of find your own table, and after a few minutes someone offered us some toast and eggs. In the meantime, we helped ourselves to cereals, tea, and juice, all of which were included in the room price. Shepherds Bush Road is a minute walk away, and hammersmith is ten minutes down. Because it was a little too far west for our needs, getting from where we spent our evenings took more of our free time than we would have liked this was a little bit of the way. But, as I said, unconventional but perfectly fine.

The hotel is in a good area of London Hammersmith Pelham which is well connected to the rest of the city by tube. The hotel is in a very nice building that appears to have recently been renovated. Also in the area you can find good and highly ranked TripAdvisor restaurants. The hotel provides you with essentials bed, pillows, showers, towels, and a coffee boiler. Unfortunately my room was very small and the only towel was about 50 cm I 90 cm and suitable for a shower and had no carpet in the bathroom. I found the boiler with aged milk inside and the cups dirty. Breakfast quality was minimal, no croissants, no fresh bread, no fresh orange juice, no pastries with toasts, a few choices of jams, milk, American coffee, and tea. The hotel has the potential to offer a better quality-price ratio in the future.
