Very close to Otres Village which is still old Cambodia. The hotel is great, manager was great and really easy to deal with from Canada. We loved it! You are travelling in Cambodia so you need to remember that. Locals there are awesome!!

We stayed here for 2 nights in a beautiful double room of sandy clay bungalow with a fresh view of the pool. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Hot and cold water was great. Highly recommended if you travel to preach sihanoukville, Cambodia. Thank you

They provide a fixed menu, but they have a very limited menu, because there are so many options for breakfast and the price isn't worth it given the condition of the room, not a great value, and so is the breakfast is also bad with the crowded view, the hotel lack of facilities for us, and they don't care about the safety of our guest, and the location of the building is also good, so the place is very quiet, but not at all worth the money, it can be described as a 3 star hotel. Definitely one of the few livable places in the area near Tres Beach. The villas are beautiful and spacious, and so is the pool.

Staff are really nice. We had some problems with our booking that were not our fault and they rectified them as best as they could. The location is near food and a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Sandy Cay is doing a good job against impossible odds. I know this a review of the hotel, but you cannot ignore the state of the entire area at present. There appears to be no rubbish collection at all! the entire region is being turned into a Chinese utopia of Casinos and huge ugly skyscrapers. Avoid Sihanoukville for at least 5 years, or in my case, forever! Sandy Cay is Cambodian owned and run and as I said before, doing a good job under the circumstances. The rooms are clean and well presented. The beds are comfy and the swimming pool is large and inviting. The free breakfast is tasty and varied.
