My first stay at this hotel was in 2013 and in June 2017. Good hotel and active airport transfers. There is no significant improvement at the hotel since my 2013 visit, management at the hotel also dropped considering the first visit. But still a nice and secure hotel considering the security situation in the city of doula.

We did not get hot water in our first room because the air conditioner did not work. We twice contacted the front desk to find out if they would send a technician, but he didn't. Although the toilet seats were filthy or absent and the shower was eurostyle, the bathrooms were functional. When we woke up, the ac filter was dirty and appeared to have never been cleaned. Since it was so hot and humid, we were so exhausted that we were unable to fall asleep. When we reached the front desk, they escorted us to our room. They initially said the air conditioning was functioning and that it wasn't necessarily the air conditioning wasn't functional. We were eventually relocated to a room with functional air conditioning and were able to get some more hours of sleep. Although toilet seats were dirty or unclean, the shower was Euro-style, i. E. There was no barrier between the toilet and the shower in the bathroom, the bathrooms were functional.

We hired a guide service to be driven by the hotel taxi driver roland who speaks French and English and is very sincere and valid. Wifi is fast and free. I stayed at this hotel because it has a shuttle service from the airport to the hotel and it really worked fine. I was a navy member waiting for me with a sign with my name on the way out of the airport on arrival in cameron. The hotel itself is not a big deal, there are very few customers, and the staff speaks French but has very little understanding of English.
