The place is decent and needs to be updated. There were chips in the walls, the beds were fine and on roller frames. Squeaky floors and very thin walls. I heard the family above wake up at 6 am to take a shower. In good walking distance to shops and restaurants. Two beds are separate rooms, but they have kitchens. We stayed for one night so it worked for us, however the room is old.4,8/58 Apr 2024

My coworker and i booked two rooms at the beachgroove motel for two nights at end of April 2022. The receptionist was lovely and very helpful. We also appreciated how welllocated the motels location was and how quiet it was at night. Our rooms were extremely dirty. There were food remains in my drawer, and there were hairs and dirt on the window sill. My colleague found a hair in her bed linens. Rooms smelled strongly of cigarettes, but at least three of our towels were stained. Book rooms with kitchenettes were available. Kitchenettes included utensils on top of tvs, minifridges as well as crockery and dishes that we didnt wash or eat from them. A seating area and table were located in the room of my co worker.4,6/523 Agt 2024

Would undoubtedly return. We had a wonderful time here! The proprietors even stayed up until midnight to check us in, and the rooms were spotless, roomy, or reasonably priced! Fantastic. The kitchens usefulness was particularly appealing to us!.4,6/54 Agt 2024

The room was adequate and the staff were very nice. The hotel itself looked nice, although we didnt get much of the experience in sure since we arrived quite late and went straight to bed. It would have been nice if the ac had been turned on before we came, the room probably was 30 degrees and it took ages to cool off before you could sleep. There is stocked fridge and kitchen which was nice (although we did not use it we intended to have arrived earlier). There werent many glasses for drinking, and there wasnt dish soap to clean them. They didn't have swabs for the baby to sleep in, so bring your own unless you need one. Overall, we would probably stay again, but i would bring my own play pen and call ahead to ask them to turn in the air conditioning he will be that late.4,6/53 Mei 2024

I recommend this place. Excellent value! The coffee and maker, fridge, microwave, toaster, and bed were all appreciated. The bed was comfortable. Showering is challenging. Poor wifi. Great location, especially for restaurants and ferry services.4,6/522 Okt 2023

The staff here were very friendly. The exterior of the place was a bit gloomy at first. But once we saw the inside, we were satisfied and very comfortable. Room was clean, new air conditioner, flooring, and incredibly decent bathroom. There were tad of minor items, but for $99, i would stay there again. We stayed at the beach grove for one night while attending an event in town. It is basic, comfortable bed, hot water, very quiet, a bit frayed around the edges. But great location, right across from the golf course in secluded residential area, walk into town, just around corner from beach Grove cafe, where we had excellent coffee and i had tastiest breakfast. The owner/manager was charming and friendly. We will definitely be back. Great value, especially if you like to avoid the anonymity and corporate sameness (and high prices) of chain lodging.4,6/526 Jun 2023

We werent expecting much for the price we paid, but we were pleasantly surprised. After driving down from the cariboo, we arrived quite late at night and were welcomed with a smile. It was my husband and me, another couple, and our little dog. The room we had was ideal for us, with two rooms and sanitizer. Tv and internet worked well.
