Very clean. We were unaware the restaurant was only open certain times.

We stayed in the older part of the hotel overlooking the lake, so we had a great view every morning. There was a window open when we arrived, making the room fresh! The room had 4 or 5 good lamps or lights around the room, so everyone had good lighting! Breakfast was always available in the morning with real blueberries!! Staff were so friendly and kept everything so clean!!

My room was clean and had ample room. All staff was nice and helpful. The restaurant had very good food and drinks. The breakfast that was included was always hot, fresh, and plentiful. The lake was beautiful and they had plenty of chairs to enjoy the calmness of the lake. Thoroughly enjoyed my 1st visit to this hotel and I would definitely stay again

I can not say enough nice things about the staff at Best Western plus Chocolate Lake. All of them were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was always spotless and the restaurant in the hotel has very good food. I will be staying there for my future trips to Halifax.

Beautiful lakeside hotel. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the meal was very good and reasonably priced.

The breakfast bar was quite nice, with hot food and several options. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The spa tub jets did not work, however.

Spent 6 nights at this hotel. Great location for our needs and easily accessible. Room and overall hotel was clean and tidy. Included breakfast was great with many choices to start the day. Had supper only one evening (as we had plans otherwise most days)....menu choices were good and food was great. Overall very good stay...we will be back!
