We arrived at 2am after having a flight cancelled. We appreciated email reassurance that reception staff would be there to check us in. Room was fabulous! Restaurant was stylish, food was excellent and service was wonderful. The nicest hotel of our 6 nights

Downtown Banff can be a little overwhelming on a crowded summer day, with literally thousands of people walking up and down Main Street each hour and parking impossible to find. That’s why it was so nice to stay on Tunnel Mountain at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge. While less than 10 minutes from downtown Banff, it felt a world away. The setting is really beautiful, with hiking trails just steps away. However, you never really feel inconvenienced by not staying downtown on Main Street, because the lodge provides free Roam bus passes and the bus picks up right out front of the lodge and whisks you downtown in less than a quarter hour. If you prefer to avoid downtown altogether, there is a nice bar and restaurant at the hotel, along with a fitness center and hot tub for the guests. The rooms themselves are quite large, and distributed around the main lodge in several 2 story buildings with ample parking alongside them. We even had a fireplace in our room, along with a nice balcony facing the mountains. Staff were helpful and we really had a nice stay.

バンフ中心部から少し離れたところにあるので騒々しさとは全く無縁な静かな環境で自然を感じるには理想の場所にあります。私たちはほぼ毎朝に鹿、エルク、リス等の動物に会うことができましたし、バルコニーからはカスケードマウンテンを望むこともできました。中心部に行くバスも含め、バンフ内のバスに滞在期間中、何度でも乗ることができるチケットも配布してもらえるので中心部に行くのに困ることありません。スタッフは英語が得意でない私たちに親切に対応していただき本当に助かりました。 The Prowのアルバータ牛のサーロインもとてもおいしくいただけました。設備は少し古いのですが、むしろそれは自然にたたずむ宿としての味わいがあるもので不便さを感じるものではありません。バンフに行かれる際はぜひ、宿泊地の候補として検討されることを強くお勧めします。

Lovely room with a nice balcony to sit and enjoy the Mountain View. Bed was comfy and there was a good shower. There wasn’t air conditioning but a fan was provided which helped to keep the room comfortable in the hot weather as we couldn’t get the window to open. Glass door on bathroom should be replaced with a proper door to give a bit more privacy - although it’s not see through. Fireplace is a nice touch, albeit we didn’t use it as the weather was so warm. Location is great. Less than 30 minute downhill walk to middle of town, or you can use the local bus from across the road - the hotel gave us free bus passes which we made use of to get back at night. We had breakfast a couple of times - the restaurant and lobby area is beautiful and the staff were friendly and efficient.

What stands out most was how helpful the staff were! On check-in, Mia gave us recommendations for trails and restaurants, all of which turned out to be spot-on. When we ordered bottled water, a staff member brought it straight to the room within minutes. Likewise, when we needed help lighting the fireplace in our room, a staff member came almost immediately. Every staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay! The staff were super friendly and helpful and the studio was spacious and very well equipped with everything we needed. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We used the restaurant on site twice and the food and service on both occasions were exceptional. The lodge is a little out of the downtown area, but there is an excellent and regular bus service right outside which takes you downtown in no time and fares are covered by the lodge. It’s a really peaceful location with nice walking trails.

This is a great place to stay located in Banff! It was convenient to use the Roam bus to get into center of town and the complimentary bus passes were nice. The room was very clean and nice. We loved the sitting area with fireplace, balcony, and large bathroom. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff was so welcoming and helpful. I appreciated the suite king room. The Prow had a lovely Bison steak for dinner. I even saw large deer walking across the yard in front of my window. Great property with a mountain feel and still easy access to downtown.

Buffalo Mountain Lodge is WONDERFUL! If I returned to Banff, I would definitely there again! Their restaurant, the Prow, is superb. The walk (downhill) into town is about 15-20 minutes but you can take the bus which is right across the street (the hôtel gives you bus vouchers).
