I was hesitant at first to book this considering the many negative reviews. But I needed a cheap place to stay and the rooms looked nice online. The room and bathroom was definitely on the smaller side but as a solo traveller for two nights, that wasn’t a bother to me. Especially since the room had pretty much all that I needed including a mini fridge, plates, and cutlery. The storage space was enough for me and there was plenty of room under the bed. The bed, linens, headboard, and pillows were very comfy and I was really impressed by them. The Roku smart tv was very nice as well and I was able to mirror my laptop screen to it. The toiletries were good. Paper towel was provided but I did wish I was provided a tissue box but it’s not a big deal. The amount of towels provided was sufficient for one person and they felt very high quality. I used the microwave a lot but didn’t use the induction cooktop. The A/C unit was very nice to have as well/ Overall, I’m very satisfied by the room itself and impressed compared to the other reviews! My room was on the ground floor but since I came with a carry on-size suitcase, the stairs was not a problem. I didn’t have a view as the room looked out on to the back fence and fire escape. The floor did have a noticeable trash stench but it was definitely tolerable. The garbage room was full of flies which was not a pleasant surprise. The overall condition of the building wasn’t the best but my room was fine and secure. Would stay again!

Well well maintained and responsive staff (online communication). 4. Agreed for an early checkin-in and a 30 minute late check-out. 5. Spick and span. 6. Keyless entry and no waiting time or formalities for check-in (just like a walk-in).

A really great bang for your buck - right in the heart of the city within walking distance of the old quarter. With the negative reviews I was worried, but for the price you really can't complain and I'm glad I took the chance. Surprisingly spacious and quiet in the deluxe room, and the kitchenette was a god send. Plus the in-room temperature control came with a remote so you could adjust the temperature settings while cozy in bed. The property responded immediately to my questions, as well. Definitely staying here again next time we're in the city! :)

Been here 3 times simple clean accommodations. Some rooms have a full washroom some are shared in the hallway with other rooms so pay attention what you’re booking. Overall very happy

First time at this hotel. Although I reserved a small single room, it was clean, tidy and quiet with a small kitchen and air conditioner. The location can’t be beat: 2 minutes to the subway & bus station, a few blocks to Le Plateau and The Village + a large parking garage directly across the street. I’ve had to walk blocks to house my car in the past…no more. I look forward to staying here again when I make it back to Montréal.
