Stayed on the top floor (1507). The view was amazing and the room was spacious and clean. Great location across from the harbour. Lots of food and cafes nearby. Across the street from the path along the waterfront.

We came over for just a quick little over night getaway for our 4th anniversary and we definitely had an amazing time! The staff were very welcoming and went over and above by giving us a beautiful room over looking the ocean which the view was breathtaking as well as a yummy treat of Nanaimo’s famous bars in our fridge. Since we were limited to whereabouts to go as we didn’t have our vehicle we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. Although they were out of a couple of items we were thinking of ordering the meal turned out to be better than expected and our waitress was great even paying for a dessert for our anniversary. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay along the harbour in Nanaimo and I know if we make it back this way again we will be for sure. Make sure to get the ocean view!!

Beautiful room, we enjoyed the view and the beds were comfortable. Room was very clean. Staff was helpful. Onsite restaurant took a really long time to get food out, but the food was great.

Coast Bastion exceeded our expectations. The hotel is beautiful and our room was great. We had an awesome view; and the room was bigger than expected. The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff was very helpful and I hope we had stayed more days!

Hotel was in a great location, room was very clean and large we got the Harbour view room which I would recommend to anyone it was just an amazing view. Staff was great and the restaurant had amazing food with great live music.i will definitely stay there again.
