The staff was so amazing and nice. They served delicious breakfast. We only stayed one night so we can enjoy the majestic view and watch the tides come and go. The rooms were very comfortable with great views of funny bay.

I believe this is the only place to stay in mainland life. We decided to remain here after visiting the funny tidal interpretive center in the south mainland to see the tidal bore. The decision made us very happy. Cresthaven is a gorgeous old house that faces the shubenacadie river and the Bay of Funny. Bald eagles nest in trees nearby, and the front porch is only a stone's throw from the water. With a little fridge, our room chestnut was roomy and extremely comfortable in size. The innkeepers are friendly and helpful with local advice. Breakfast was excellent. For a simple pub meal, you can stroll a few blocks into town.

I strongly recommend Cresthaven by the Sea. To commemorate our wedding anniversary, there is a very memorable location. Because we were traveling during the offseason, we were concerned that we would not fine a restaurant in the neighborhood. Thankfully, the proprietor recommended a fantastic restaurant for dinner in a nearby turn. The small gesture of being called to the restaurant saved our time at Cresthaven by the Sea. The be is a stunning find that has stunning vistas of the Bay of Funny. The shared living space is cozy, calming, and very cozy. We had the entire place to ourselves because the owner even made a fire in the fireplace. We couldn't have asked for anything more. The be is kept up, tidy, and nicely carved, and the breakfast was excellent.

In August 2021, we spent two nights in this serene country inn. The historic residence is charming and meticulously kept. Our apartment was spotless, comfortable, and cheerful. The inn is in an impressive position, right on the shores of Cobequid Bay, where the bizarre tides are strongest. You'll be greeted with a beautiful expanse of the sea and sky. We saw bald eagles, sandpipers, gulls, and willets. At night, we sat outside and observed meteor showers. Breakfast was delicious, and we followed warren's advice for a day trip along the coastevery suggested stop was a delight.

I really liked our time here. My husband and I were searching for a place to stay to check out the Bay of Funny in Nova Scotia. And this location was perfect. When we arrived the tide was starting to run out and it was amazing to watch it run out for hours in this lovely yard. I found it incredible to see how different the area looked when the water was completely out. Our hosts were wonderful. very knowledgeable. He answered so many questions and gave us advice on things to see and when. The room was great. Breakfast was delicious. And our hosts even made us a fire in the common area when we finally came inside. The experience was ours. We typically do hotels or robs. I hope all I can do is go as great as this one.
