Dominion Hills is a unique experience, away from the hustle and bustle of tourism. It is 20 minutes out of Saint Andrews, so an easy drive in to explore both the town and Minister’s Island. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, the grounds are very pretty. I really appreciated booking the hot tub for my own private use for an hour-a welcome respite after a long drive and hike. The owner provided lots of suggestions for dinner options. None are within walking distance. I went to Rouxbarb which was excellent and with very friendly service. Recommend for those who want a quiet, unique experience.

We needed an accommodation relatively close to Blacks Harbor in order for us to travel to Grand Manan to visit family and TRUTH BE TOLD - this was the only accommodation available for our family of 5. We had a chaotic trip. We flew in from Alberta, one of our kids (we learned) is very susceptible to motion sickness... (its our first BIG family trip) there were challenges with our rental car. It was a tough travel day all around however!!! I am SO pleased that this was our first night accommodation in New Brunswick, (even though for all intents and purposes glamping isn't really our area of interest or expertise) I am SO GRATEFUL that after a full day of chaos, mixups and tech errors everything with our stay was seamless. The serene location was just what we needed to unwind and adjust our internal clocks to local time. 10/10 would recommend, we may be glamping converts!!!

The safari tents were super cozy and the access to the hot tub and firepit made this a great experience. It was not hard to find and was easy to access all parts of the property.

Thanks, it was amazing to stay at Dominion Hill Country Inn! The first night, I stayed in the Van Fleet room. The history of this house is amazing, and the decorations were so perfect. I feel honored to stay somewhere with so much history. The second night, I stayed in a glamping cabin. Super fun, very cozy!! The wood stove kept the tent warm (it was October so getting chilly out). I am a female and was by myself with a fairly small dog and felt safe in the tent and room. Also, the common dining area feels like stepping into the past. Loved it sooo much there.

The glamping experience was definitely a positive one after tent camping for several days. The canine greeting crew was exceptional, and the staff were really friendly and helpful, offering up suggestions of local eateries. The tent was clean and the heating instructions were very simple. We enjoyed our hour in the hot tub and it was easy to book. The bathhouse with four separate full baths was also appreciated. I’m not a huge breakfast eater, and there was enough to satisfy me.

Dominion Hill is a very special place. The property is meticulously maintained and sits on a hill, well back from the road, with magnificent water views. The staff throughout is friendly and helpful, and customer service is clearly a top priority. Highly recommend this property.
