Beautiful scenery. Buy breakfast, lunch, coffee etc at the plaza near the info centre. There’s good selection and much less expensive than the hotel. There are small fridges in the rooms.

Incredible hotel with exceptional staff who turn a beautiful stay into an unforgettable one. Thank you for making our honeymoon truly special — we were upgraded to a stunning lake‑view room, received a bottle of prosecco with a small desert and even offered breakfast. The Basin Spa is on another level entirely. We’ve visited many spas, but this one feels genuinely exclusive. There were maybe 8–10 people in total, which made the experience calm, intimate, and perfectly paced. We could explore every room without ever feeling crowded. A special mention for the Aufguss sauna ritual — I usually don’t enjoy saunas, but this was something else. A unique, must‑try experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Staff were incredibly friendly & helpful, from the checkin person to the room cleaners. If youre hiking with snow on the ground, you can rent microspikes & hiking poles at the concierge desk (very helpful if you want to hike fast on hard packed snow). There are nice quiet places to sit with good views on 1st floor near Fitness Center. Would be helpful to put the Fitness Center on the elevator buttons, otherwise a little tricky to find. Also please add a foam roller or 2 to Fitness Center.

Gorgeous property with very helpful and friendly staff. A nice assortment of restaurants and gift shops. Ski rental staff was friendly and accommodating. Shuttle service to and from Lake Louise ski area was convenient. We were there in April and able to still walk across the frozen lake, which was a cool experience. The most delicious poutine we found on our trip to Canada! (also pictured is the giant walleye fish and chips! Superb and could feed two!) Definitely recommend this wonderful property and hope to return in the future.

We had another incredible stay at Fairmont Lake Louise. My family has been coming here for over 30 years, and it continues to exceed expectations every time. The views are absolutely unreal, the rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the entire property is just stunning. What really stands out is the service — every team member goes above and beyond. We were also celebrating our daughter Mia’s birthday, and the staff made it feel extra special, which meant a lot to us. Truly one of the most beautiful and well-run hotels in the world. Already looking forward to coming back.

What a special place to stay in the winter. The access to ski at Lake Louise was fantastic, cross country skiing across the lake was a great experience, and the new Basin Spa is not to be missed!
