Lovely hotel, and incredible renovations. At the time of our stay, we only had access to the pool next-door at a different hotel, which was not too convenient , but I did keep us away from the hot tub after skiing. Hopefully next time we go there it’s up and running. Beautiful hotel.

Our stay was excellent, parking was limited and had to park a neighboring hotel, but due to construction understandable. Price was a little high considering no real amenities due to construction. But all considered excellent stay!

My wife and I booked in advance and immediately received a response to say that the hotel was undergoing new construction works, therefore we had to use facilities at their sister hotels. I responded straightaway asking to be moved to one of their sister hotels, but received no further response. On arrival, we spent a lot of time with the staff management to secure a room with a shower (not a bath). We were initially told that we would have to move on the second night into a room with a bath because the room that we got for the first night was booked for another guest on our second night. The next morning, the management kindly let us continue to stay in the same room with a shower. At least, the management did help to meet our needs (we are both in our 70s and a bath presents safety risks, slipping and falling). The hotel itself is first class. No doubt, when construction is completed, the hotel would be outstanding, only second to Fairmont Lodge. In general, the hotel is well maintained, clean, and very helpful staff. They even arranged a revised time for our boat cruise on Lake Maligne promptly.

The hotel is going through renovation, once it is completed, the property will be a great place to stay. The rooms are brand new with innovative approach and design., beyond the usual outdated concepts. We liked a lot the room and the furniture

Lovely hotel and the soap inside was Rocky soap, we found the storefront in Banff and purchased a whole bunch. There was still construction taking place but it didn’t affect us much.

We stayed June 27- July 4 2026. The hotel is still under construction past the advertised dates so we can’t review the amenities that aren’t open BUT the part that is complete is great. The staff are fantastic. The kitchenette in our room was well stocked and really functional. The bathroom was clean with good storage. The beds were great. The “new” style of the room design means there is only one rack to hang clothes and some space under the couch to put luggage (no closet or dresser). So if you are staying longer than a day or two just be prepared to live out of suitcases on the floor- not a negative, just a different / newer way they seem to be doing things in the mountains (I hear it is better for cleanliness too) . Also loved the balconies and views! Can’t wait to come back and see it when the renovations are complete.

The hotel stay was amazing, rooms were spacious and have all the amenities you need. Walkable distance from the main market. Unfortunately, Pool was under maintenance but they arranged with other hotel but didn’t use.

Clean, well-kept, friendly staff. Hard to review the amenities since they were all being renovated. But clean and quiet in the end.
