The lack of elevator was an Inconvenience given that we were on the second floor. Getting luggage up and down two flights of stairs was a bit of a workout. Don’t know what the elderly or people with accessibility issues would do. Room was huge. Bathroom and bedroom huge too. Only downside of the room was there was absolutely zero view. The windows were completely frosted. We could not see out of them at all. The food and service in the dining room was good. Front desk staff were friendly. Location was great. Collingwood is such a lovely town! Despite the issues with the lack of elevator and view from our room, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

We stayed in the accessible king room. Great room and bathroom layout, much easier for my husband to move around with his bad knees. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. Outdoor pool was very pretty, indoor pool was also nice. The restaurant served a nice steak dinner. Unsure if breakfast options available at hotel restaurant. Only a couple of very minor things to note. I was looking forward to using the fireplace in the sitting area of our room but unfortunately once on, it had such a high pitch squeal, we had to shut it off. The hotel was having trouble with their Wifi so front desk staff quickly provided another wifi network and password to use which worked great but wasn’t synced with tv so unable to use Netflix but other tv options were possible. Overall great stay- thank you.

My husband and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Georgian Bay Hotel. All of the staff that we dealt with were the most incredibly friendly, helpful and hospitable people. They are the main reason we would come back here. The grounds were very clean and maintained, and there are lots of parking spots available. Our hotel room was very spacious with high ceilings, huge bedroom with a king sized bed & TV, balcony, full kitchen & dining area, a large living room area with a cozy electric fireplace, TV & pull out sofa, and lastly a very large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub/shower. We slept so well on the comfortable mattress & plush pillows. There is a beautiful outdoor pool with a fun children’s playground adjacent to it. Such a convenient & family friendly setup. Sadly, we didn’t swim in the outdoor pool as the weather was too cool for us. However, we loved swimming in the indoor saltwater pool … so peaceful, so relaxing. Our only concern was that the hotel beach towels are very small … too small to wrap around an average sized adult body. Aside from that, we would definitely come back & would recommend this hotel to family/friends. This hotel is also conveniently located about a 7 minute drive to the Blue Mountains Village and downtown Collingwood. Two thumbs up!
