This hotel was retro, clean and very cool. Carry your luggage up the original wood creaky stairs 1-2 flights. Call to find out which room is yours. Seamless. Old and new wood accents. Very nice shared ‘living room’ if you’d like to use it to read, play games, watch tv or just relax and have a tea or coffee. Put your food in the shared fridge. If these walls could talk….. Definitely recommend!

It was a very nice place to stay, however, if negotiating steps is a problem then this is not a place for you to stay. There was no actual check-in with a person at a front desk. You will be notified of the front door code which immediately leads you to steps going up. My room was on the 3rd (top) floor where there’s a nice kitchen area with a coffee maker, full size fridge which you’ll share with other guests, couches and sitting areas. Overall it’s very nicely decorated.

had a wonderful chat with the owner's son who came to the hotel and unlock it for us! Lovely hotel & stay! Lots of history there! Be prepared for the walk upstairs 22-23 stairs and fairly narrow. Not too much of an issue. Our group of 4 really had a great stay over the 2 nights.

I really liked the room we had with a big bathroom and immediate access to the shared kitchen. I was really appreciative of Martine's son carrying our big bags up the stairs!
