This hotel was on point! The staff was super friendly, the location couldn’t be better and it was super clean. If I’m ever in Montreal again, I won’t think twice about where should I stay.

Beautiful boutique hotel located centrally in Montreal old town, really clean room with good breakfast. The main restaurant is upscale and beautiful. Great stay!

I really enjoyed this hotel a lot. I had a balcony room on the top floor with some great views, and it had just become warm enough to use the outdoor space. If possible, try to get Room 602, which I was lucky enough to have, because you get better views of the river and Habitat '67 from there (and you can see the La Grand Roue if you peak around the corner). My room was great. The breakfast the hotel provides is VERY tiny, but it's delivered to your room on a hook outside your door, which is sort of fun. It's an old building and very charming. Super well located too. The hotel shows its age just a little -- a door that sticks a bit, a slightly lose bathroom fixture BUT these minor flaws only add to the charm and character of a truly fantastic hotel in one of the world's best cities.

The only weak spot was the breakfast basket delivered in the morning at the room door. It wasn’t very convenient to eat without a proper table, sitting on the bed and dropping crumbs everywhere. Scones and muffins weren’t great. The croisant on the third day was better, only a little small.

My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary in Montreal for the week. Hotel Bonaparte is beautiful inside and out. The friendly and helpful staff welcomed us with smiles and refreshments. Asked us if there is anything we would like for them to help plan for us. The staff made our reservation at the hotel restaurant which the staff made our dinner special and the food amazing! We will be back as we absolutely loved the location and staff!! Just beautiful!
