We had a suite that was excellent. While we had a view of the street , it was an interesting view. Having a restaurant in the building close to our room was most convenient for breakfast and dinner. Staff was friendly and quickly responded to our needs. Very centrally located!

L'Hermitage is a wonderful boutique hotel. The staff who work at this hotel are so friendly and helpful. The location is very good, you can walk to many great restaurants and the hotel has bikes you can borrow to bike the seawall. At the end of a long day there is a very nice hot tub and heated pool. The rooms are very spacious, the beds are comfy and the shower is perfect. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and the food was very good and the service was amazing. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Beautiful hotel and centrally located. Loved the complimentary bicycles that we borrowed. Cafe Medina next door is a must-eat for brunch. Quiet rooms and nice jacuzzi spa.

L’Hermitage is a gem of a hideaway tucked in the middle of downtown Vancouver, yet feels miles away from bustle. The staff are gracious, accommodating and civil, always looking for opportunities to make your stay memorable. It’s small, yet feels ‘big’. The lap pool is lovely by day but then gleams at night, surrounded by leafy gardens. And L’Orangerie, the in-house restaurant/lounge is as gracious and personable as one would expect at the grandest of locales. Their food is delicious and tastefully presented. The savoury crepe with feta, prosciutto and spinach was superb - I ordered it twice. There’s even a wonderful happy hour opportunity to savour appies and an accessibly priced beverage selection that might entice you to switching whatever dinner plans you’d made to staying right here 🤗

We checked-in with the wonderful assistance of Natalaya. The room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the service impeccable. When we checked-out the staff saw to our transportation needs by summoning a taxi and helping with our luggage. We would have no hesitation recommending this hotel to anyone looking for an excellent place to stay in Vancouver.

Beautiful property, helpful staff. We arrived after departing a cruise ship, so we were there at 10am fully expecting to leave our bags at the bell desk for the day until 4pm check in, but they welcomed us with open arms and got us into our room right then and there! We ate at the hotel restaurant with the $10 off coupon. Took about 20 minutes to get our cocktail after ordering (only a couple of other patrons), and all of our food came at the same time even though we asked for appetizer first. Last, while we were clearly saying grace (prayer), the person interrupted to place our pizza at my plate. Our actual server respectfully waited.
