Beyond my expectations. Received an upgrade to a deluxe loft. Beautiful loft with exposed stone and brick, every amenity needed. Location in old Montreal is fabulous. Staff at checkin were great. Spotlessly clean.

The staff at Auberge and Gaspar were fantastic, so welcoming, friendly and helpful! Perfect location for touring Old Montreal, couldn't ask for better. Our loft was amazing...this is where we will stay again next time and we'll be bringing family. As a travel agent, I highly recommend!

Room was great aside from lacking total blackout curtains. Shower was amazing. Bed was very comfortable. All the staff was very welcoming and helpful. There was some confusion regarding parking, asi was travelling by motorcycle, but was resolved effectively by the team. Thank you!

The accommodations were exactly what we wanted for our stay in Montreal. Location was perfect. The description included there was no elevator available so you will have to be prepared to use the stairs. That was not an issue for us.

Loft studio suite was lovely. The hotel accommodated our request for a specific room. The kitchen had all that we needed and the bathroom was spacious for two. Bed incredible! Location in old Montreal can’t be beat.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful location, very convenient, and right in Old Montreal. The loft was clean, decorated beautifully, and very spacious. Lots of stairs though, be prepared. This is in a different building from the main hotel, so the hotel staff drive to the other building with you to show you the accommodation.

Very rustic with a great location. A wide diversity of amentities avilable within walking distance. The Loft rooms do require navigating ~3 flights of stairs. Might want to expand that messaging in the advert for those with mobility issues. Otherwise... a really great accomodation ... a very romantic get away.

Right from the start we had great impressions. The lobby of the hotel is immaculate and all the staff are super friendly. Both restaurants onsite offer excellent food (especially brunch). Just a heads up that the lofts are a separate building around the corner from the hotel (only a 2 minute walk if that) and up a few flights of stairs. Not a huge deal for us and we did get help with our bags from the front desk, but something to be aware of. The loft itself is a hidden gem in the Old Port. Huge, very well appointed full kitchen and bath, and clean. The only negative we could think of was soundproofing, especially from the hallway through the door, and from the floor above. It is an old building though so that's to be expected (though the sound through the door was a new one). It's a popular area as well with bars and restaurants nearby so expect nightlife. Overall the stay was one of the best we've had in the city, and the added touch of being greeted with a note and treat after we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday goes the extra mile. Will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we're in town.

it's better than i expected for sure. it's right in the center of the old town Montreal, and downstairs is the coldroom bar and terrace william grey, which makes my journey fun and surprising. The valet boy and the concierge are all nice, friendly and supportive. As for the room, the decoration is absolutely fantastic, and there's ample room for 2 people. However only one thing to be noted is that the building is quite old, so when people treading on the stairs there will be sound even at the top floor. other than that this place will definitely be my must-go every time when i visit Montreal!

Both the hotel and the lofts are great. Service top notch. Just beware the lofts do not have elevator. If you’re ok with stairs, stay in the lofts!

This is our third time staying at this hotel. This time, however, we chose to stay in one of the lofts and found it to be just perfect! We loved the size of the room, the coziness and certainly enjoy the location. The staff at the Auberge de vieux port are fantastic. Friendly and kind. Fun bars like Bisou Bisou and The Coldroom were a minute away! We will be back!
