Excellent location and property for a 2 night stay to see Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. We stayed in a suite (47) and it was spacious and very comfortable. Very helpful staff who guided us for visiting Lake Louise. Only drawback was that the suite was on first floor with no elevator. Definitely recommend

Nice stay. We had a room that was the old motel style with the door to the parking lot on the first floor. this building did not have an elevator so those on the second floor need ed to carry their things up the stair. There was a breakfast buffet for $10.00 CDN pp plus tax. The buffet was similar to those found at other hotels that had an included breakfat. TownPlac, Residene Inn, Holida Inn. It was OK for the price

Great stay at Mountaineer Lodge. The staff were helpful and friendly and our room had everything we needed, a really comfy bed and great refreshment facilities, plus a bath and overhead shower. We were situated near the railway and I was concerned about noise, however it was fine and although you could hear the trains early morning it wasn’t a major issue. I would suggest requesting a room away from the track if you’re worried about sleep disturbance. The buffet breakfast was great with plenty of choice. Location wise it’s just across the road from Samson Mall and with easy access to restaurants.

The lodge is located on the quiet area with lots of trees. The breakfast is excellent. It is easy to walk to restaurants.

Location is excellent and rooms clean! Stayed in renovated rooms on the main side and they were great! Enjoyed breakfast which was reasonably priced. Front desk staff helpful and courteous. Parking free and easy. I don’t believe they have elevators but there are only two floors.

The Lodge is located little bit on outskirts of town of Banff with convenient and frequent public transportation Roam , route 2. The hotel provides 3-day bus pass to get around Banff , Banff Hot Springs etc. The room had balcony and was quite big with kitchenette and big bathroom .

We stayed in the deluxe king room for a week in the summer and it was perfect. The renovations made it extremely functional and comfortable for two people: whoever designed the space did a great job. Excellent sounds insulation as well. The staff was very nice and helpful with local hints (the NP could be run better honestly and getting places is sometimes complicated -- still totally worth the effort, Banff is an incredible place in the world -- so the help with buses and parking was very welcome).

Excellent property close to freeway access but in a quiet, peaceful, and serene forested location. Big, spacious room, newly renovated with modern appliances, fixtures, and a wonderful bathroom. Helpful and friendly staff. Fast and efficient check-in and check-out. Easy parking and access. Large facility in a quiet and peaceful area. Only hotel in the Lake Louise area with quick access to public transit, tour buses, and a mall. Recommend it unconditionally!

The room was spacious and clean. The location was very convenient, with parks and shopping nearby. The heated sauna and pool were a great bonus and made the stay even more enjoyable.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Having laundry on the premises was an extra bonus. The breakfast was quite a bargain. It was a great location for exploring the Lake Louise area. Highly recommend

Clean rooms, new furniture, very close to restaurants and some shops. It is a remote location so a vehicle is required. Good breakfast, friendly staff.
