I only spent one night at the northern rockies lodge when I was there for work. Checking went without a hitch. Although smaller than a lot of hotels, the typical lodge-like room was just perfect for an overnight stay. The restaurant's outrageous rule that you must have our threehouse meal to eat in was on, instead of the outrageous you must have our threehouse meal to eat in, there was also the option of ordering takeout from the menu. The takeout portion was substantial and delicious. There were a variety of choices at the morn buffet. The lodge's setting is lovely. I can't comment on how the cabins are because I stayed in the lodge itself rather than in the cabins.

I spent a week fishing and staying at the lodge. It was unquestionably a trip of a lifetime. It's an amazing place and the fishing was amazing. This and Maranne are wonderful hosts. The food is great and the lodging is great. It's an amazing place to visit. 5 stars!.

Hotel is nice, but for the price, you would expect more. There is no cell service and the wifi wasn't working. The receptionist was also no help. No vending or ice machines if you need something to drink. Also, no elevator if your not on the ground floor and it's a walk up the stairs.! The hotel is nice but for the price, you could expect more.
