The POW hotel was on the bucket list for years. The history, the look and the terrain in Waterton NP made it a must do. It not only lived up to the expectations, but sincerely was a dream come true. The place itself was magnificent, the town and surrounding area were magical, but the employees stole the show. All young people. From 16 year old Arthur, to Blake, Vlad, Amelia, Rosie and Lucky, the employees are what make this place memorable. I felt like these employees could teach Chik-Fil-A a lesson in customer service. Lol Try the dining room, the tea experience, listen to the 7 PM history lesson daily, spend time just looking out those big beautiful windows at Waterton lake, and be transported to a simpler place and time. Great job POW. P.S. complimentary E-bikes, bear spray, etc

The experience and charm were amazing. Every single staff member we encountered were engaging and very friendly. The food was delicious for both dinner and breakfast. The only issue we had was it was EXTREMELY hot in the dining room and lounge the day we were there. Unfortunate that it does have an impact on the over all stay. We will be back again… thanks everyone for a great time and a little bit of history!

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is 100 years old so the walls and floors are thin. It was not a problem for us since we stayed one night but for and extended stay it would be something to consider.

Classic and historic hotel on the Rockies. Beautiful Alpine architecture, great staff and great history that they all love and share personally and in evening presentations in the Great Lounge overlooking Waterton Lake and Glacier National Park in Montana. Easy access to Waterton proper and if you want the most immersion and relaxed stay go during the week as the weekends are total craziness! 100 year anniversary next year, they have a 👻 ghost, and a great 100 year old elevator that is an experience to ride! Accessibility is alittle limited if you like I have special needs but nothing to get a knot into as staff worked really hard to make it all work. Hope to go back next year for their 100th! High Tea and dinner in the Stewart Dinig Room was exceptional though alittle hard to get coffee ☕️! And take in the presentation at 7 in the evemimg on the history of the hotel and the story about the engine crank for starting rhe first lake boat to bring gurlests ftom the Great Northern Railroad in Montana to the rince of Wales hotel is hilarious but tou will have to hear the history to answer the teaser! Love it and it will love you in return.

Ein historischer Ort in bester Lage. Was will man mehr! Da verzichtet man gerne auf heute gewohnten Hotelzimmer-Komfort, wie mehr Platz und Geräuschisolation zum Nachbarzimmer. Das Bad war frisch und ansprechend renoviert. Warum die Rohre der Sprengleranlage nicht gleich mit gestrichen wurden, erschließt sich mir nicht. Immer wieder gern! Leider zu weit weg.

Wonderful staff. No air conditioning, television, coffee pot in room. But they are upfront about it and they aren’t needed. Dinner in the Royal Stewart Dining room was excellent. Grounds and view are spectacular! We saw a grizzly bear right off property. We passed on high tea but enjoyed bangers and mash for lunch. Definitely would return!

L hôtel est superbe et idéalement situé. Le personnel est parfait. Néanmoins, l’équipement des chambres pourrait être amélioré (notamment une cafetière) et le fait que l ascenseur ne soit accessible qu à certaines heures est peu pratique. Malgré tout je conseille et je reviendrai. N’hésitez pas prendre le petit déjeuner sur place il est excellent et la salle est très belle

This is my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at. From the location to the design of the hotel, from the view to the staff dressed in kilts, I loved everything about this place. The food was great including vegan options. I highly recommend the tea service. I enjoyed the talk given by one of the staff on local history. Everything was great.

Wonderful location for a historical hotel. The prairie pie we had for dinner in the lounge was wonderful. The older style elevator is run by friendly and helpful staff. Helpful and accommodating staff in all areas.

This is a must. Do yourself a favor and book for two nights. The hotel is something out a fairy tale. You feel like you stepped back in time. Views for days. The staff is warm and welcoming. Things to take advantage of, there an additional fee for $20 for amenities. With it you get unlimited use of their electric bikes. I was sad to leave. But will defiantly go back. Fantastic experience.

Magnifique hôtel historique qui vaut le détour. La vue depuis l'intérieur est a couper le souffle. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Pas de TV mais cela est très bien car cela permet de profiter du lieu. Le personnel est très sympathique.
