I saw this place on TripAdvisor but did not reserve a night. I arrived without a reservation to find one single night. No problem. The motel has two sections I was in the back, and the part you cannot see from the road. Parking was available directly in front of the unit. The unit had been redone. The room wasn't particularly large, but was well-decorated, with a newer bathroom, flat-screen to, coffee maker, and fridge. The bed was a bit soft for my taste, but not too bad. Even though there were other guests in the nearby rooms, the room was quiet. The price was reasonable and the wifi was reliable. No breakfast, etc. The fact that there aren't many restaurants nearby was the only downside. Apart from the one directly across the highway, you have to drive downhill into trail or uphill into infield or roland. Trail and Rosslandwinfield are not valuable.

The Ray Lyn is recently purchased by a lovely couple. It is slowly being refurbished. However, it is quite affordable, spotless, and quiet. The proprietors are courteous and persistent. It's older, but it's now our go-to destination for nightlife.

Very nice accommodations at an excellent price. The owners are very friendly and care about their guests. We had a great time there. The room was spacious, clean, and well furnished. It has a restaurant across the street and is very near to the city center. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed here on a motorcycle trip for one night because it was so hot outside. Sunny at the front desk was very friendly and checked us in, and when we got to our rooms, the ac was running, which was already a plus. Room 38 is huge, clean, and quiet even though it's just off the highway. The beds are extremely comfortable, clean, and brand new. We will stay here again, and as an extra bonus theres a decent steakhouse pub right across the street.
