This isnt a bad place to stay and i think it can be great for some travelers. Great location - easily accessible by train from the airport, walk to most tourist attractions in the city. The staff are friendly and really want you to have sanity. Rooms are only 4 rooms instead of the standard 6 rooms, so they are nice and spacious. Clean bathrooms. Breakfast at mr. Martin is $5 off at an nearby restaurant. But the bad part is the common room is small and not really occupied. Bring earplugs because there is commotion from traffic. You will need to cover your eyes at night because of this pollution from cars. Renting rugs for showering is required.

The friendliest staff is available to assist you with any needs you may have. The facilities and bathrooms were of a high caliber and kept clean. Although it would have been nice to have curtains on the beds and tv in the room, i was staying in sydney shared dorms with two beds. Other than that, my stay was fantastic.

Overall, i wont stay here again or recommend it to anyone. We arrived and the staff were quite friendly but when we got up to the room, both of our beds were covered in long dark hair. So were the towels they provided. I went downstairs to ask for a new set of everything and she said she would change it. When we returned to my room there were new sheets and towels covered with long black hair as well. As if that was the case, im forced to put my t shirt over the pillow. The mens room toilets were full of dried urine and hair, and showers werent working so good that we were only there for one night. Also, the walls are fairly thin. At least the neighbors had pity.

The room was too hot to sleep in. It was essentially a cupboard with swabs inside, we could barely move. The desk staff member was neither friendly nor knowledgeable. Both the showers and the location are good.

I stayed in the twobed room. Although they were small, there was still plenty of room for luggage and extras. The entire space was immaculate, including the bathrooms and kitchen area. Excellent location a lot of buses were close by, and maaybe, i believe, had just begun at 11 am. It was also close to the waterfront, so you could take the ferry anywhere you wanted. Additionally, the staff was knowledgeable and kind. My only issue with it was that there werent really any events going on (at least in other hostels). It wasnt particularly soundproof, therefore bring earplugs if noise is an issue. Breakfast was quite late as well - ive been there since 11 oclock, which is what prompted me to think. Overall, its primarily suited for lodging.

This is a great little hostel. Most reviews have mentioned that the rooms are small, there is no air conditioning, and the street is noisy. The service was excellent, all the staff were very friendly. Please keep in mind that hostelling in canada is still in its initial stages, so standards are not the same as those in europe, etc.. I loved the twoperson room, it was incredibly convenient for me instead of the 6/8 bunk style rooms. Real estate in canberra is extremely expensive, therefore its nice to have remuneration for compared to $350 hotel room rates!.

I stayed in a private room. It was the best experience ive ever had in lodging including hotels. The staff is very friendly and kind. Bed is so comfortable. I had to check out really early than planned. When i told the staff about my situation, they gave me refunded for the night ill not stay. Im so grateful that they are so understanding of personal emergencies which can happen to anyone. This hostel is in an ideal location for travelers. Very close to stations and pharmacies, canada place, gas town, and so on.

Im not sure what these comments are about in terms of quality. Its an old building. People want clean and sterile but cant enjoy the character of a building that represented the city in its prime. I enjoyed my stay, it felt comfortable and homey.

Excellent location, friendly and helpful personnel. I felt safe and lucked out having the entire room to myself. They offer discounts at the cambie bar and grill. Every Sunday there was live music right downstairs, but you could hear the music, and the residents were considerate of each others food in the common area. There is a laundry room on site. The cleaning crew was thorough.

I would definitely stay there again! This is one of the better hostels ive stayed in. I did stay in a private room with my partner on two separate occasions one room was very quiet, one was tastier but it was Saturday night. Clean beds, locked female bathrooms, lovely staff.

Kamarnya bersih dan dasar di lokasi yang bagus. Meskipun ada musik yang diputar di lantai bawah hingga pukul 13.00, Saya tidak menganggapnya mengganggu dan tidak ada masalah untuk tidur dengan musik. Tempat ini bernilai baik karena harganya setengah dari harga rata-rata kamar hotel.

The staff is friendly. The room is clean and comfortable. There are some other guests who can be noisy in the kitchen, but overall a good stay at idly priced. Lots of good shopping and dining in this area.

I stayed in a room for 2 people and it was decent. The washrooms could be tidied up if there was some noise from the bar downstairs, but thats manageable. They dont offer free breakfast.

This place has a good location. The staff was helpful and friendly. Showers and rooms were clean and the showers were good. Rooms are saunas. Dont stay here if you want to sleep or stay hydrated. Also very noisy from the street outside. There is no lift so its not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The hotel boasts a convenient location in the city center, conveniently located near skytrain. The receptionist is friendly and accommodating, offering clean toilets and showers with warm water, complemented by utilizing sanitary amenities. Additionally, the kitchen features utensils and laundry facilities, providing convenience for guests. While our room was clean and wellmaintained, it was outdated and worn out. However, its size makes it ideal for sleeping, and the wooden floor requires repair. During our stay, we were entertained by the bar music playing during the night.

This is my second time staying here. The location is close to everything and the port. Rooms are small and washrooms clean. Beds were comfortable and i love the roll into the center. Staff are friendly and drinks are delicious. Overall if you can put up with the noise until 3 am, you will laugh. Checkout at 11 am also suits you well.

It is convenient to travel, the location is good, and the service staff has a positive attitude. The room is not very large, but it is clean. There is onsite kitchen, which is perfect for eating your favorite dishes, plus it only takes 10 minutes to get to the Asian super league, so its convenient.
