Very spacious and comfortable suites. A modern, upscale hotel near the harbor and the Parliament.

Everything was great. Only thing to be aware is no air conditioning. Only ceiling fans and open the balcony doors for a cross breeze. And if you're there on Sunday, its Prime Rib night but you must have a reservation. If not, no Prime Rib is available. Seems they order to the reservations only.

The best thing about Sylvia is the location. It is on the sea wall path that circumnavigates Stanley Park to the west and Granville Island to the east an points beyond. Close to Denman Street which has a ton of ethnic restaurants. It is in a quiet but happening neighborhood. Sylvia's restaurant has a full menu. The Benedicts were perfect, the Honey Granola Parfait Bowl was wonderful. It is an older hotel so the rooms are larger and have lots of windows, which is great if you have a sea view. I must have been remodeled by dropping the ceiling and raising the bathroom floor. The penthouse has a large bedroom and living room divided by a kitchenette and bathroom. High ceilings and no step up to the bathroom, lots and lots of windows.

Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant. Had large family gathering with kids so kitchen facilities were well used. Location was exceptional and very quiet. Loved our stay.

This is a fantastic hotel clean quiet and staff are great. It is very centrally located and very walkable to the ocean and downtown . The restaurant is a great place to sit and have a drink and just relax. The beds are comfortable and the rooms have balconies to sit and enjoy the evening. Overall great spot!

We were impressed that with some brief communication with hotel staff ahead of our arrival indicating our flight would be early and wondered if we could store our luggage in the hotel until our room was ready, it turns our they had our room ready on arrival. That was so appreciated. It is a quiet facility that is well located to a short walk to anything you may want to do in downtown Victoria. We had a suite with a kitchenette and found everything to be clean.

Huge suite with a kitchen! Large balcony, amazing location! Kids loved the free gummy bears, restaurant was very popular but we didn’t try it during our stay.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite with my wife, our 29 year old son and 2 of his friends. Plenty of room with 2 sharing one of the bedrooms and 1 on the pull out sofa. The sitting area and kitchen had more than enough room for all of us and the kitchen was well enough equipped to make an easy meal if you wanted. The hotel has a very nice bar area downstairs, although we didn’t use it as there is so much to see and do right at your doorstep. Speaking of which the location is very convenient, a short walk to Fishermans Wharf, Parliament House and a few minutes extra to get across to the pedestrian area on Government street. I would definitely recommend the Oswego, great location, great feel, great staff.
