When it was known as wyatt santiago, I primarily stayed here. The large outdoor pool, which includes an enchanting waterfall and well-kept grounds, is, as always, the best feature of this hotel. My stay is made much more enjoyable by having a welcoming, competent, and effective pool attendantwait staff. The manager, trained by Ricardo Martinez, particularly gets to know his team well. Due to his cheerful disposition, a staff member, Javier, stands out. Javier always has a grin on his face, exchanges nice words, and truly desires that all of his hotel guests receive the best service he can offer. Javier goes above and beyond for all visitors, and he is enthusiastic, courteous, and competent! Sadly, not all service employees have the same kind or level of professionalism as Javier, and this is where the Mandarin Oriental is failing. The level of service does not match that of the former highend wyatt. As a visitor, I have concerns about the absence of staff or the lack of training some employees have received. I never want to be saddled with endless excuses as to why my waiter hasn't yet fulfilled my order I had placed 40 minutes ago! Instead, my table is avoided, eye contact is absent, or, worse, someone else is to blame for the oversight. As a visitor,

Several cruise ships are starting or terminating at this hotel. There is no room for dinner reservations at any of the hotel restaurants the night before or two nights after that. It is necessary to make some reservations before you arrive. Although the hotel is lovely, the majority of Mandarin Orientals are under the care of the rest of the world. There is an outstanding public space and swimming pool. Although not heated, the pool was excellent for me, but not for the rest of my party. There is a beautiful breakfast buffet. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is untidy. Be vigilant about appropriately criminal behavior. Stay one night before and five nights after your trip to Antarctica.

The location was excellent because there was a large mall with numerous stores and restaurants nearby. It is a modern motel with Asian decor accents. The receptionist gave an informative tour of the hotel's facilities. The room was large and had a separate seating area. The bed was king-size and exceptionally comfy. The bathroom was once more separated from the bedroom. The shower seemed unusual because it was unclosed and had only a glass panel, allowing your companion to see you showering if he wanted to use the restroom or sink. The pool was lovely. Although the breakfast buffet had a limited selection, it was of high quality.

Large tour groups like Silver Seas cruise lines use this mo. This brings crowds all checking in together, lack of possible late checkouts, and loud noise and confusion. The reception and bell reception were always swamped with groups checking in, so the rest of the visitors lost their ability to proceed as usual. Our room was pleasant. The bed comfortable. The linens are nice. We stayed at the beginning and end of a vacation, with similar experiences each time. My only real complaint about the hotel is the horrible hotel lobby restaurant. In an effort to make it right, the motel offered us a small discount off the bill. Due to the constant problems with tour groups, I would choose a different hotel.
