The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA). This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately. Foreign business travelers who require a printed invoice will also be charged the additional 19%, regardless of the length of their stay in Chile. A guarantee will be requested upon check-in for all reservations to cover possible incidentals during your stay. This could be equivalent to the monetary value of the first night stay.
