Coming frequently for biz I need hotels in this area, and have tried several of them. This is by far the best in this (kind of) remote location. The room was super comfortable and clean (the AC actually cooled it well on a hot July day - not to be taken for granted in China!) and the breakfast excellent. I plan to stay here again!

It all works out well. Large family room with a bathtub with both hot and cold water. The air conditioner is cool and heat free. The room is spotless. Big mattress and desk work. There are more than 60 channels on the ac, but 99 channels have coffee, tea, a small refrigerator and a small safe. There is also a hairdryer. Breakfast has a menu of Chinese and American dishes. All in all, it's fine. The air conditioning in my room is not cold.

I just stayed here for 5 nights and was very unsatisfied. The hotel is very dated and shabby. The room was clean, but the bathroom had rotten tiles and the shower head was leaked, such a simple and affordable fix. My main complaints are that the ac simply blows warming air, not blowing it. The room temperature did not drop below etc, and thats due to me setting the temperature to etc on the room control. Even in November the room was hot, I fear thinking what it would be like in the summer months. You could open the window, but the road outside is very noisy both day and night. I brought the ac problem to the reception, but they did nothing to fix it. I guess the ac system is as old as the hotel. Another issue is smoking. The hotel has signs stating no smoking, but it appears that nobody is paying attention to it. On the upper floors, it smells old smoke, and every day the smoke stank in my room. Great if you smoke but not great if you do not like the smoke. French staff not very good. Breakfast was okay but the same every day. Not so great when there was a large group of people one morning, there was practically no food left at the counters. The staff worked hard to clear it up, but they simply could not cope with it.

This hotel is our tour company. The staff member, Roddy, was incredibly pleasant. The employees are fantastic! The hotel employees, in my opinion, really enjoy their job and it shows. Although the food was excellent, there was no handshake. The service at this hotel is the greatest I have ever experienced! I believe the construction going on everywhere was fairly new. The host, Adam, and Carol were all fantastic!.

I stayed here for 1 night because of the new room and cleanliness in the hotel. I was satisfied with the accommodation, but only 1 day can speak English. But the rest can't speak English but they try their best to help. Will be back to make reservations. The location is near the train station and there is no Muslim food available.

1. Hotel had no air cool as they were in heating mode (can not have both) so the room was very hot and they asked me to open the window which also did not solve the problem as air was hot too. 2. No vegetarian food consideration in fact the staff did not even understand what is vegetarian food in breakfast time and too much struggle to communicate. The spoons kept in front of dish bowls, breakfast time, were less than the number of bowls so people were mixing the spoons means use same for meat and vegetables and staff does not understand what is wrong. Hotel was horrible and terrible and money should be refunded.
