In December 2020, we packed the kids at the xishuangbanna crown plaza. There are many food delivery options because the hotel is only a 1520minute walk from the Wanda mall and a little outside of town. Our rooms, with exception of the suites, are all 43 square meters, according to our measurements. There is no real difference between the upgraded rooms and the standard rooms when compared to our rooms. We had only used points, so it worked for us, but we would have felt cheated if we had paid for an upgrade. Despite the chilly mornings, we made good use of the outdoor pool as it is the hotels centerpiece. It was great for us because we just used points. Nevertheless, there are umbrellas available for shade because the pool is open and receives lots of sunlight. However, there are rotten areas, multiple lengths of boards with holes and nails sticking out. Management should fix this as soon as possible. The kids club really is a room with little more than a few plastic toys, no staff, no crafts, and no entertainment. In five minutes, any kid over four years old would probably be bored. Breakfast was provided by the hotel and was excellent. They struggled to fill the buffet during peak hours and accommodate all the guests. Perhaps extra seating in the lobby during peak hours would be helpful. Room coffee is a big deal for me

After my last trip to xishuangbanna, which is internationally renowned, I stayed there about five or six years ago. I also visited a restraint named Chunwuli. Crown Plaza was my last lodging choice when I stayed there, which is now called heft and is now transformed into the Intercontinental. This time, I chose Crown Plaza too, which is now owned by Sun, a top real estate developer in China. Finally, I'm happy because this Crown Plaza hotel is still one of the most popular five-star hotels in the area, and because of the welcoming employees and excellent cuisine provided here, particularly the loyalty manager misses Sylvia Li. Thanks once more!.

I am an ing member. I've had a little more success from other ing hotels, but I don't have any major concerns. I arrived at the good time, and they gave me a room without any problems. I was higher up, and while my balcony view was blocked, the view out my front door was better. The cleaning staff was very attentive. There were two managers-looking men who answered in English during meals. Sorry I didn't get their names! I am terrible with names. The pool was excellent. Because honestly, I just wanted to relax and this was the spot. The unfortunate most staff couldn't speak English, which is fine, but caused some delays, particularly when I needed assistance to get acouid test for my return to Beijing. Breakfast was generally fine, but some days were better than others. Bacon 29 days, pepperoni the first day, and never again. Some days were with orange juice, some days with pineapple juice, it's not apple juice. Not enough pool chairs. There were 18 deck chairs in 100 rooms. You also had to walk a long distance to the back of the building to get towels. There are no drinks available at the pool either. We stayed in Crown Plaza for the weekend. It is an atmosphere hotel that is not far from the airport and Wanda Mall. The room is clean with a beautiful garden view. Rich and tasty breakfast. We have a dai show in the evenings, it is close to the hotel. It is an amazing experience. The entire staff is very friendly, but the manager, Lidia, deserves a special thanks. She can speak in English and has been helpful many times. If you are going to Xishuangbanna, I strongly recommend this hotel.

It seems that the hotel is poorly managed. We arrived in the evening and ordered an in-room dining. We were promised the food in 30 minutes, but instead it took more than an hour to get it. The food was disgusting, the chefs obviously do not even know how to make the most simple salads (such as Garden or Caesar), not to say mushroom soup. There is a construction site not far from the hotel, and also in the yard, and they started drilling at 8am on Saturday, and continued to do so on Sunday. When we arrived at breakfast (do not expect anything special, most likely you will get cold porridge), we ask to be seated in a quiet place, and in a minute a family with two small children was seated next to us by the waiter. The shower in the room did not work (it was repaired after I asked), the batteries in TV remote control were out of power. The housekeeping changed toothbrushes and shampoo every day, even though there was no necessity in such a waste. I would definitely recommend Crowne Plaza to look closer at the property.
