I thought the hotel was in down town Chengdu. As it turned out it is 50km away. Google map make a mistake indicating the worng location. But the hotel was great.

On the hotel itself, it is beautifully designed, tasteful and elegant. The rooms are large and well-appointed with nice furniture and high ceilings. Mine had a small balcony. It was very quiet, and I slept really well here. A very comfortable stay. As for location, it is really a few minutes walk from Anren's old street, making it convenient just to walk over for dinner. It is a longer walk (about 10 minutes) to the Jianchuan Museum Cluster. There are no shuttles to that area, but when you return you can get a shuttle back from outside the Liu Family Manor for 5 RMB per person. Finally, I think the staff should really be commended for their service. Everyone I encountered was extremely kind and helpful, especially a young man with the English name of Drake at the front desk. I was consistently greeted by members of the hotel staff everywhere I went. I felt that the standard of service in this hotel was as good as the five-star Japanese hotel I stayed in in Shanghai. I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend that friends stay here.

This hotel is excellent if you are simply seeking a place to relax and unwind. We had a great time while we were here, and we had the opportunity to visit Aren, the museum town, but it's at least an hour outside of cheng proper. We decided to stay at the Sheratons in Cheng for our second and third nights because we had spa points. Keep that in mind if you're out and about to see pandas or need transportation somewhere else. Nice indoor pool, swim caps required, a good sizeable playground, although too hot for our kids to use when we came in July, and we enjoyed supper at the Chinese restaurant at the hotel. To reach Cheng from Aren, we took a tutu and a bus to the Grab Bus Station for about 10 minutes, and then a bus to Cheng 15 rmb for approximately an hour, but that only gets you to Chadian Bus Station on the western edge of town. On the subway subway, the center of the city took an additional hour.

I spent three nights at the Sheratons on December 78, 2017 in order to visit the old town and File Snow Mountain. The hotel has a lovely landscape, a pleasant setting, and a great position. The rooms are large and spotless, with cozy mattresses. I am satisfied with the service provided by the staff. Despite the fact that some staff members can speak English a little, they consistently try to assist me. I want to thank all the employees you have assisted me during my visit. Swanee wongphaet is what you are.

The onsite spa is incredibly welcoming. They upgrade the room to a roomy, peaceful suite. At the first day, everything was fine and served with a friendly service. During the World Cup, two televisions were crucial. The front desk suggested that we try blueberry picking. The balcony's view of trees and a pavilion drew me in. The first day was enjoyable and satisfying with friendly service. I never had blueberries as many as I do. At the hotel, we served two breakfast buffets. I didn't like eating so much. On the second day, it was a public holiday. We had to set up a new dining area with a table from a Chinese restaurant. The waiters were also too busy to serve everyone. The size of the guests appears to have been overfilled. Special thanks to gym shirley, who is both competent and helpful. A day before our arrival, she called me and upgraded the room. She set up express delivery so quickly that the package arrived home even quicker than we had before when we left a piece of cloth in the room after check out.

The swimming pool was great, warm and clean. The room was comfortable, but the wall near the floor in the toilet needs to be cleaned each day. The electrical outlet near the bathroom sink does not work and needs to be replaced (3216). Thank you for taking care of parking our bicycles. It was a great stay and the best place in Anren, a beautiful 'ancient' town with excellent and well done museums commemorating history. This was a trip well worth it!

Anren Old Town is a ca. 90 minute drive outside of Chengdu (new Highway opening end October 2016, cutting trip by Car to 40min.), Museum Town. Sheraton is the only Western Hotel there, decent Restaurants , Indoor Pool and Gym , convenient location in short walking distance of historic Old Town, Hot springs, Snow mountains and other Tourist attractions are all within 60 minutes surround.

成都に住んでいて　郊外でのんびりすごそうと思って出かけました。しかし、1月に行ったのは失敗でした。とにかく寒い。ホテルの中も寒かったです。ロビーはともかく　レストランも寒い。従業員がコートを着ているホテルレストランは初めてでした。ホテルの作りが夏用のリゾートホテルで　ある意味風通しが良さそう。だから、夏はいいと思います。部屋は広いですが　バスタブはありません。中華レストランはあまり美味しくありませんでした。みんなしょっぱい。ルームサービスにワインを頼んだら40分かかりました。施設は綺麗で立派ですが　ちょっと残念でした。まぁ　ここは日本から旅行に来るところではないと思いますが…。念のため。
