The hotel decoration is good and welcoming for the end of year festivities. The food is fantastic and the drinks are served in style. Had a wonderful party with friends from college. Classy place to hang out.

I'd stayed in before, in 2014. But it turned out to be a mess this time. The front desk barely understands English. Not even passable for a business hotel in China. I've stayed in cheap hotels where the staff understands basic English terms better. Checking in took forever. There were a few waiting, but only one person was working. It was apparently impossible to get someone to clean the room. I contacted them once and questioned them nothing. I had to finally take a picture of the piles of blankets on the bed before they understood and sent somebody. I know it's China, but cleaning the room or housekeeping should be basic terms for a business hotel in the financial district. And then checking out took over 30 minutes. One lady at the reception couldn't figure out how to refund my deposit on their credit card machine and it took them over 30 minutes and then a supervisor to complete it.

Ive visited Damian three times now, but this is my first time at Hoo. I had a bad experience at this hotel while staying in a central location. The hotel is old and needs substantial renovation throughout. English is not very well spoken, despite being an American chain. Food choices are poor for breakfast and in the evenings, although room service is quick. The bedroom is relatively large, and the air conditioning works well, but it is outdated, as is the bathroom and shower pressure. The wifi is also bad, and it is not good for evening conference calls with the west. Damian has much better options. Ive reviewed one in the past and have given it excellent reviews. The next time Ill be back

酒店离星海广场很近，步行10分钟左右就可以到达；周围没有中山广场附近那么热闹；酒店环境不错，早餐稍微小贵，没吃起~

場所は、中心部から少し離れていますが、静かで仕事に集中するには最適なホテルです。また、１階にコンビニエンスストアが併設されていて、水、コーヒー、おにぎりも売っているので、日本人には便利だと思います。

The room was comfortable and staffs are very attentive. Local apple and apple dessert was served in the room and that added a little extra to my business. The area around the hotel is modern and clean and you can reach the Harbour with a 10-15mins walk.
