overall stay in hotel is awesome. very friendly and very helpful five girl staffs. I really felt like home.never felt alone. only one drawback which is not related to the hotel is outside nuisance. but they changed my room quickly and made me relieved. just the best hotel. i will come over and over again. ohh i must need to comment on the wifi of the hotel is so bad and awful which is unthinkable.

Wow one of the best hotels l have stayed in as of jet! The hotel has been newly renovated, and is well maintained after that! There is only one thing that l would recommend and that is that the hotel must get at least one English Channel on the TV. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

I regret not taking the trip to check on the hotel's actual conditions. As I read the previous review, it is quite bad. At the beginning of my 17-24 March 2016 trip, I enjoyed a fantastic brunch near ximenkou that followed by planned tours to Sarah at the Huaisheng mosque. The james hotel is quiet and an amazing new budget hotel. It's a modern, minimalist, and chicwell because the price also jumped to rmb 228. The good news is that they offered better prices for long stays. Please read the attached pictures. When I visit Guangzhou on my next visit, I'll visit this place and stay there. Because the location in ximenkou, an old town, represents the real Guangzhou and the majority of the local shops speak Cantonese.

I stayed in James for 2 weeks. It's very affordable! The Ximenkou metro stop is only a short walk away. There are numerous small but nice restaurants around, if you enjoy street food. My room was spacious compared to many American hotels and Japanese boutique hotels, especially for the price I paid. The receptionists are always very friendly, helpful, and friendly. They greeted me daily with big smiles. The hotel offers free internet and a washer with a sundry area to dry clothes.

My husband and I booked a boutique twin room for us of 2 adults and 3 children. Fast checking, staff speaks English better than hotel in Shenzhen, small elevator, modern lobby, spacious room with basic amenities slippers, liquid soap dispenser on the wall, tooth paste tooth brush. The bathroom's three tap water choices, so we could easily take ablution, are what I like. Location ideal for Muslim. Halal food stands on the right and left side of this hotel. We found a fantastic halal restaurant about 12 blocks to the left. I stayed for 1 night on our winter vacation in Guangzhou. Google Maps is blocking in China, so it was quite hard to find the hotel location. Finally, we found the hotel after a 1015 minute walk from ximenkou train station. And we were happy with the location. Jia mei sign with am hotel is right in front of the Hua Send mosque so my husband can pray in the mosque on friday. Alhamdulillah. Back to the hotel review I booked a boutique twin room for us 2 adults 3 children.

Good hotel especially for Muslims tourist because of its close to mosques and halal restaurant. But the location is quiet far from subway station and the surrounding was filled with dusty areas from construction activities.

Location near MRT and lots of local delicacies at the hotel surrounding. the only problem is the noise by the the road work in front of the hotel. it works round the clock. you really can't have a good night sleep if your room face the main road !

it is about 6 min walk from subway. Room is very clean and not too small. Clean bath room. roof-top table and laundry room. but room has no refridge. you can walk to beijing-lu although little far.

一個人住的話基本不錯，距離西門口地鐵站不遠，可步行到達。浴室去水不好，房間隔音不太好，房間基本上挺乾淨。工作人員友善。晚上街道較黑較靜，有顧慮的人要留意。周邊多食肆，對面就是懷聖寺。我是一個男生短住一晚，整體來說還算不錯。

自悠人

酒店是已翻新過，房間清潔整齊，4樓是公共廚房及自助洗衣房，外面有枱椅供大家聚會，基於保安理由乘電梯上房間要在電梯拍房卡才能按鈕。附近有多間不同食店可供選擇。但美中不足便是酒店隔音相對差，走廊有人經過或傾談就完全聽聞。另外我住的房號是 8251 厠所有一陣難聞的渠臭味充斥，幸好只是在厠所內而沒有散發到房間其他角落。
