First, by Chinese standards, this is a 5 star hotel, not an international one. I stayed for 9 nights with my wife. The lobby and public areas are pretty good, well-kept and neat. The restaurant offers a fair selection of food and the quality is also very good. Breakfast included for the two of us costs us an additional 50 rob per day. It's worth it. They have a great gym, pool sauna. Please bring a swimsuit if you want to swim in the indoor pool. The standard in the room has started to drop. It was a good size and has plenty of space. But it was quite damp and smells like you're thrown over. It's the smell I've experienced in many Chinese hotels. I believe there is a mix of moist business and a cigarette smell. The floor was supposed to be non-smoking, but I think Chinese visitors regularly demonstrate it. There were burns on the carpet. The bedsheets were almost always damp and clammy due to the humidity. I think a 5 star hotel by whatever standard should really have some sort of functioning humidity control in a humid city like haiku. The toilet would occasionally not seal properly, meaning that water would continuously run into the bowl. When it occurs, you can't flush it. Again, this is something I've experienced in other

My experience with this hotel is very positive. I didn't stay here because Cathay Dragon forced us to depart for Taiwan due to operational reasons. The hotel itself is fine. Large, well-equipped rooms, excellent wifi, and adequate facilities. The zoey at the front desk is the hotel's greatest feature. I left my iPhone in the room when I checked out quickly because Cathay Dragon was rushing us to take a bus so we could make the most of the additional four hours of waiting at the airport. I called the hotel the next day, and I eventually made zoey. Zoey is a star! She confirmed that they had my iPad, but she also remembered me because she had helped me find an atm and a neighborhood store. Zoey made arrangements for my iPhone to be delivered to Hong Kong. Throughout my interactions with Zoey, she exuded confidence and helpfulness, and her English communication was of the highest caliber. The hotel is fortunate to have such a wonderful staff member working for them. Thank you, Zoey!.

I stayed there for 1 night, and it wasn't too bad overall. Although I can see the hotel is rather old, the facilities are actually quite well maintained. Also, their gym was quite surprising. Location is also good.

It was a pleasant stay all around. The service here was very pleasant. Especially, they provide a market selling vegetables and live seafood and stalls selling steamed buns and local cakes. Plus, they also provide a free upgrade to fit an extra bed for 3 people.

While playing golf at Haiku, I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and I had a good experience. The environment here was very pleasant, even though the room was quite comfortable, but the carpet and couch were dirty. Since the coffee pot is plugged in the cupboard underneath the to, the inside of the cabinet gets damp from the exhausting steam. But, what makes this hotel such a good hotel is that it is a business hotel which is unrevised by Chinese tour groups, so there are not any crowds, especially for breakfast. When you select a single portion from each dish, you would be able to have loads. The wide variety of breakfast options are available, such as toast, croissants, pastries, and coffee brewed from an espresso machine. Overall, this is a nice and comfortable hotel without the noisy Chinese tourist population, but it does not meet international five-star standards.
