非常漂亮美麗的建築, 服務員也很幫忙, 禮貌也很不錯, 只是如果住2號樓, 會久缺了景觀, 但如果想拍照片, 這裡絕對是首選, 年輕女生在這裡住有公主的感覺 !

Positive points: - Historic architecture; the origin dates back a few century ago. Originally this house was built by a western celeb for his/her child. Then, the house was passed to a Chinese and renovated as a hotel. - Although the hotel keeps historic façade, the rooms and facilities are modernized. - The room in which I spent more than a week is clean, spacious, and furnished. - The hotel offers superb breakfast with both Western foods and traditional Chinese foods in a buffet style. Negative points: - Very few staff can speak English. Not a few time I found difficulties in conveying what I want to do to hotel staff. - A little bit far from the nearest metro station. 10 to 15 min walk is needed with navigation. - Gym is super cheap. Only one treadmill and one pedalling machine are available.

歴史的な建物を心行くまで楽しみました。マーラー氏の別邸がうちの近くにもあって、（すでに形はなく、別の旅館に建て替わっていますが、）この時代に上海でイギリス人がどんな生活をしたのか見たかったので、ほんとに感激でした。

シャワーの水温と水圧が低い、以外はとても快適でした。クラシカルで有名なホテルなので、タクシーはすぐにわかります。ただ、走っているタクシーをつかまえるのは今の上海ではとても難しいので要注意。こちらのホテルもタクシーを呼んでくれないので、外でかなり待って大変でした。

This hotel is historic and full of colonial motive, quite a departure from the modern 5-star accommodations. Food is great, and it's close to many good eating and shopping sites. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

スタッフの応対、部屋の清潔感、朝食のクオリティのすべての点でとても良かったです。ただ、部屋のサイズは小さめなので、人によっては狭いと感じるかもしれません。また、レストランにはWifihaあるようですが、部屋にはWifiが届いていないので注意が必要です。（使っていないので、利用可能かどうか確証は持てませんが、有線LANのコネクタはありました。）駅までの距離は若干あり、周辺では工事が多く行われていて、通りにくいところもあるので、タクシーを使うと便利かもしれません。

Shuting

The breakfast was amazing with Western and Shanghai/Cantonese options. One could eat healthy or splurge on some tasty ones. The dining hall was BEAUTIFUL and service was fantastic. The gym was tiny, with one elliptical and one treadmill and some dumbbells. There were some free fruits and snacks in the hotel room as well. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfy. The staff members are all super friendly. The only thing I dislike is that the walls were paper thin. Whenever people walk along the corridor, I could hear them clearly. My neighbor started playing loud music at 6.30am, and I could hear the entire phone conversation he was having, word by word.
