Super surprised by the quality and uniqueness of this hotel. The staff were super attentive, food was fantastic and the area is magical. There is a great hike right up the valley behind the hotel. Rooms are nice and toasty in the winter but the rest of the hotel is a little cold so bring warm clothes. Looking forward to going back here one day

Absolutely fantastic hotel , it will disconnect you from the world and it's very close to the Zhangjiajie national forest park . Grace at the reception is incredible and extremely helpful. Everyone at the resort are just so kind. I highly recommend you to use the hotel services for any airport pick-up and drops. Airport taxi will not accept to drop you there because it's very far away from the city center and the way is dark at night and a bumpy ride. All the important attraction could be arranged from the hotel. Due to the location it's challenging to do it on your own except for the national park forest which is just few mins away.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in the middle of August. When we arrived, the girls had already waited for us and were incredibly kind to assist us with our belongings. Very pleasant welcome and quick check-in process. The lady at check-in even took us to our apartment. Wow! Such a beautiful room! Wonderful view and a very serene environment! The pool temperature is perfect and was refreshing after a long day at the national park. The housekeeper was so eager to assist us with language issues and attempted to translate everything! Perfect stay. We will undoubtedly return! Greetings from Austria!.

Homeward Mountain is located close to the national park's west gate, directly across the street from a relatively small village, and around 3 a. M. A walk from a very little town. Of all the national park entrances, this is probably the least developed and thus, the most unspoiled. Because of its remote location, Id advise you to bring some snacks because youll be unable to find much locally and there will be nothing to eat without the hotel constraints. The hotel restaurant is excellent and offers a wide variety of delectable home cooked Chinese food at a very affordable price. Unfortunately, there is no desert menu, not even an offer of a modest ice cream or a fruit plate, so if you enjoy the occasional treat, you might want to bring some candy or chocolate, as I said above. Instead, you can walk down to the town to buy some fruit or down to the small town to get an ice lolly. The views and pool are breathtaking. Every annoyance and irritation caused by this hotel was washed away when I swam in the pool or slept next to it for a while and looked up at the mountains. All wasps, hornets, and mosquitoes can thus enter the washing area, but they must struggle to exit. The water pressure in the main shower was poor, and the hot water was not reliable

The location was amazing, there were so many fantastic places that we visited on the trip. Our room was on the ground level, facing the lovely infinity pool, and the whole place was calm. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and there was a shuttle service that went above and beyond to help. And then, the cleanliness and service were fantastic. After that, the restroom here was the best. Subsequently, the rooms were great, especially the toilet. Besides that, the breakfast was very good. After that, the food was also fantastic.

In September, we visited Zhanjiange. Even during the month of September, it was cold and windy. Our stay at the home retreat was very long. From the airport, it can be reached in only about two hours. The hotel charged us 300 cny for a one-way journey. It's far too much. They told us that flights left before 10 a.m. would cost 200 cn and those who left after 10 a.m. would be 300 cn because it was a very remote location. Hotel was beautifully situated in the mountains. Stunning views. Furthermore, the rooms are cozy and roomy. Zhangjijie needs at least three days to visit. Despite that, a nice resort is just the perfect finishing touch to the beautiful experience. The staff can't speak English well. They are a couple of times told in sign language. There are no Indian restaurants nearby, and the cuisine is just Chinese. Veg lovers are trying hard to survive here. Be careful to pack your food..

I chose this hotel due to its remote location at the foot of the mountains. We enjoyed the traditional architecture and the lovely atmosphere. The food was okay, we had a butler named Bubble. He saved my vacation! He was able to get me a cable so I could recharge my camera battery every night. He organized our trips and was always very helpful. We loved the warm milk that was served to our room in the evening, an added extra!.

This is such a cute hotel. The service was great, food was delicious, and the property was so quiet and peaceful. It was raining when we were there so we couldn’t use the pool, but I bet it would be even more beautiful on a warm sunny day. The staff is friendly and wanting to please the guests. There isn’t really anything nearby which was fine for us as we needed a break from the chaos of a city. They have a bar, which is beautiful, up on a hill with karaoke and the bartender was so sweet playing us some American music! Would definitely recommend his hotel.

If you want to stay in the country side with no room service, no restaurant, outdoor bathroom (which I don’t recommend in the winter) then this is the hotel for you. It is probably not the best option for tourists that are visiting Zhangjiajie as it in an isolated area. The hotel itself is clean, and the views are amazing! It was a good experience but it wasn’t what I had hoped.
