I stayed at Sofitel Haikou for a business trip and was thoroughly impressed. The hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and functionality, ideal for business travelers. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a comfortable work desk and high-speed Wi-Fi. The staff were courteous, professional, and attentive to every detail. The breakfast buffet had a great variety of both Western and local options, which was a great way to start the day. Meeting facilities were top-notch, and the location was convenient for accessing the business district. After work, I appreciated the relaxing atmosphere at the lounge and the stunning ocean views. Highly recommend Sofitel Haikou for business travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.

My stay at Sofitel Haikou was exceptional as always. The rooms are high-tech, spotless, and very well maintained. It's a perfect blend of comfort and modern luxury. The staff are friendly, professional, and always ready to go the extra mile. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the service team on duty on 11 November 2025(around 9am–10am) for kindly arranging an early check-in and sending our luggages to our room within 10 mins. We had an early flight into Haikou and my mum was tired, so the thoughtful gesture was deeply appreciated. I also want to thank the service team on duty on 12 November (between 10am–12 noon). After checking out, I accidentally left my bag at the hotel, and the staff were incredibly helpful and efficient in locating it for me. Every experience at Sofitel Haikou has been nothing short of excellent. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality and impeccable service. You truly made our stay memorable! Sofitel Haikou will definitely be my number 1 choice when I return to Haikou.

This is my last stay at the Sofitel Haiku. I was very impressed with the facilities at this hotel. This is an amazing hotel, with a great swimming pool and a great view. Also, the service of the lounge staff and the lounge manager, Sabrina, should be mentioned.

This is my favorite hotel in Haiku. You're always well taken care of. The room always smells great and never smokes like many other hotels in China. Beds are really comfortable. Japanesestyle toilets in the rooms! The hotel is very stylish. Staff speak English and are always very helpful thank you. Lounge is nice, as is the buffet for lunch and breakfast proper bread. Massages are also very good.

This is the first choice for a calm afternoon tea or a relaxed business meeting without being disturbed. Sofitel Haiku business and administrative lounge is the first choice. You can enjoy excellent service here. After staying here for a week, the main service employee xiao xie is very attentive and considerate. Let me say that Taiwan Island is also a good service afternoon tea evening happy time that can be used to relax and enjoy this quiet and romantic time accompanied by the setting sun. Here to watch the sunset should be the greatest view, with the seaside sunset and sunset romance, and the city lights in full view.

Because I've heard a lot of good things about the sofitel as a vacation location, I made a decision to stay at this hotel. Mandy provided excellent customer service, from giving me details on booking options to arranging a later check-out time for me. I had a large, spotless room, and a comfy bed for a much needed night's sleep! The attentive, accommodating personnel provided an array of great breakfast options. I'll undoubtedly return.

In our first time, we had an excellent buffet at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant offers a panoramic view of the city. The service was superb. We are very grateful to John, Ivy, and Lucy's hospitality. They gave us a wonderful introduction to the local cuisine available at the buffet. The seafood was delicious. We have a lot of plans for our next trip.

Our initial room felt quite old, and there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. It appeared to be coming from another room, as the odour was even more intense in the corridor and near our door. Unfortunately, no action was taken after our first complaint. We were later upgraded to a club floor room, which was an improvement, though still not ideal. The hotel did provide an air purifier at no extra charge following the upgrade, which we appreciated. At times, we experienced long waits for the lift, and the location was not particularly convenient. Overall, we were quite disappointed with our stay and would not choose to return to this hotel.
