Highly recommend to all who want to experience Beijing Hutong living, very homey feel, the property is artistically designed and immaculately maintained , the tea serving ritual is a must to experience… and the traditional Beijing snacks (fried sauce noodles, wonton soup, tea cakes) are so yummy that my kids said they are the best food they have tried Beijing.

This is a beautiful property in a lively neighbourhood, very charming. What made the experience special was the kind and attentive service from the staff. They were very helpful in helping us book activities, provide suggestions, ensure our stay is comfortable, and even went out of their way to provide early breakfast when we needed to leave early. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Every day we looked forward to the afternoon tea service, where we got to try many types of fruits, nuts, and handcrafted sweets, some were very artistic. They also brought warm milk to our room every night :) The rooms are clean and comfortable, the property has sweet birds and koi fish which were a fun addition! We would recommend anyone to stay here.

I highly recommend of this hotel as a perfect services under a small operation staffs but the staffs are perfectly served by the heart to the guests. Services including all room services at any time, free laundry, receiving delivery with a warm smile. 我高度讚揚及建議這小小四合院戈住宿。服務人員不多，但每位均熱誠用心，服務既貼身又貼心，任何時間想吃的都按需要預備，免費洗衣服務，园內有美麗的花，可愛会唱歌的鳥还有肥肥的錦鯉。簡直樂而忘返。感謝各位員工的服務，讓我有难忘的住宿體驗。

This is the type of place that you hope to return to. It is perfect in every sense. The staff and owner are very kind, the beds are comfortable and they always have some treats waiting for you when you come back tired. I only wish we stayed in Beijing longer.

We are a family of four and had a very pleasant 10-night stay. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well maintained, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or requests. Breakfast was enjoyable, with freshly made beef noodles and wonton soup, along with a good variety of options to start the day. The location was also convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby. Overall, it was an extremely comfortable stay, and I would highly recommend it to other travellers.

The staff are so welcoming and went above and beyond. Really helped my wife out with medical needs. So polite and willing to help. The breakfast was fresh and veried. Traditional Chinese foods but also some normal breakfast items to keep kids happy. Also provide an afternoon tea with traditional treat but also have popcorn and candy floss. A great addition. The best hotel I have ever stayed in. I would recommend this for anyone to try. Worth every penny

Det var et fantastisk ophold. Det var et super hyggeligt lille hotel. Virkelig lækkert værelse. Men personalet var det aller bedste. Vi har rejst meget, sjældent har vi mødt så imødekommende og hjælpsomt personale. Hvis man skal til Beijing skal man helt klart vælge det her hotel, og service info: prøv deres afternoon tea. De får mine bedste anbefaling.

The reviews were correct. This is a wonderful place to stay in Beijing. It is a very small, quaint, and immaculately cared for hotel. The rooms have very traditional and modern elements that work very nice. If only I spoke Chinese to use the automation. The highlight were the staff of the hotel. They were unbelievably attentive, kind, genuine and helpful. The answer was always yes. We were leaving early for a tour and they opened breakfast early for us. After check out we left our luggage to walk around before coming back to leave to the airport. They invited us to tea time before we left, even though we were checked out. Small, but impactful efforts. My wife said it was the best stay she has ever experienced in all our travels.

My stay at this siheyuan was one of the best experience in my 20 years of travelling extensively. I have stayed at numerous 5 star hotels and resorts, SLH hotels, but none come close to my experience at this siheyuan. The owner, Mr Jiang and staff are friendly, always chatting with us and providing us with the best service making sure that our stay was pleasant. The breakfast spread was amazing despite it being a small “hotel” with only 9 rooms. The “afternoon tea snacks” are available till 10pm. After a long day out, you are welcomed back to the hotel with an assortment of snacks which could easily fill you up. We had afternoon tea on the day we arrived at 2pm and even on the day of our departure at 7pm as we had a midnight flight back home. We travelled as a family of 2 adults and 2 children and the room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I will highly recommend this hotel to anybody that want to experience living in a traditional Beijing courtyard house.
