Hello! Traveling from Shimian County to Ya'an Chuantou Howard Johnson Hot Spring Resort Hotel in Caoke Township requires traveling along National Highway G662. According to the traffic control notice, starting August 1st, construction work will be carried out and traffic control will be implemented on several tunnels along National Highway G662, including Taoba, Dagangshan, Datian, and Longtoushi. During the construction phase, Longtoushi Tunnel will operate with half-width traffic and intermittent release, with release intervals generally not exceeding one hour. Specific release times will be dynamically adjusted based on on-site construction scheduling. Taoba, Dagangshan, and Datian Tunnels will only be open during three fixed periods: morning, noon, and evening.
Detailed times are:
Morning: 07:00-08:30
Noon: 12:00-13:30
Evening: 18:30-20:30
Important Note:
1. Tunnels will be completely closed during non-release periods. Please plan your travel according to the release times. 2. During the control period, in case of severe weather such as heavy rain that makes safe passage impossible, temporary traffic control measures will be implemented even during the originally scheduled reopening time.
3. It is recommended not to rush to the designated time slots; allow waiting time and try to pass through the tunnels during their reopening hours to avoid being stranded at either end of the road.
