We recently returned from four wonderful days in La Selva. Wow, what a complete transformation after too long in the big city. The hotel is several hundred meters off the highway, making it both accessible and quiet. The nighttime sounds of crickets and the blue sky were pleasant. The wide, shallow, and accessible creek that is only a few steps from the hotel, along with the spotless, idyllically laid pool, created pleasant and nature-filled days. A triple, a double bed, and a single bed were in the apartment. The apartment is big enough, not large, with a very hot shower and a powerful ceiling fan. Ac is simply not required because it cools down at night. The mattress is comfortable, and the decor is simple. Nothing exciting but great. Five stars are provided at the restaurant. Joseph and Marian went above and beyond to please us, from constantly giving my wife a full thermos of herbal infusions we have a 2month old who is breastfeeding so this Hydration is useful to provide us a large bowl of hogan to die for! With every meal. Before we asked for something, they knew it and brought it right away. The pool is cleaned every day, and fresh water is always flowing into it. The swimming pool is not long enough for lap swimming, but it does have a shallow, wide rim for small children. This is a really good plus.
