I admire what this resort is seeking to create: a serene environment centered on restoration and mindfulness. Daily yoga (11 a.m.), meditation (3 p.m.), and a fire ceremony (6:30 p.m.) anchor the experience, while many thoughtfully designed spaces invite lounging, reading, and shedding frenetic city energy. The grounds themselves are truly beautiful. The staff is exceptional and attentive—from the boat transfer guys to the meticulous leaf-sweeping, pool maintenance, housekeeping, and restaurant service. A special mention for John/Juan, whose warmth and open, welcoming presence makes guests of all experience levels feel comfortable participating at whatever depth they choose. Travelers new to this style of travel should be prepared for adjustments: no hot water means late-afternoon showers (warmer), not morning; toilet paper goes in a bin rather than flushed—a common practice in Cartagena. Minor drawbacks: Food options feel limited for guests who don’t eat shellfish and seek healthy options (for example, no chicken both days I attempted to order it). Music played on the beach can be louder than ideal for those hoping to read, nap, or fully unwind, creating a slight disconnect with the relaxation-focused ethos. Additionally, Namaste sits between busy beaches, and jet skis often buzz uncomfortably close, posing both a distraction and a safety concern for swimmers. That said, for those seeking something different, this is a charming, distinctive and rewarding destination.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality that made me feel right at home. The staff truly went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and happiness throughout my stay. The atmosphere was so serene and welcoming that I felt completely reconnected and rejuvenated. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to, from the cleanliness and comfort of the room to the little touches that made the experience unforgettable. Cute and cosy yoga retreat. The staff is fantastic, most of them understand English or do everything they can to understand and help. Several yoga and meditation sessions a day and don’t miss out on the fire ceremony they have every evening. The svings by the beach are a joy to hang out in.

I stayed at Namaste with my boys (5 & 9 years old) and rest of the family this past week. The service was completely worth it. Our host David did an amazing job on thinking of things we didn't even know we needed. He had all of the transportation ready to go from Cartagena to Tierra Bomba. He also made all of the arrangements with the tours, so we didn't have to worry about anything. Namaste is a peaceful and unique place where you do get disconnected and get a chance to meet new people. We had the privilege of meeting Haidi, the master of the sea who manages all of the water transpiration. Cuero and Angie were extremely friendly and made us feel at home. Tierra Bomba is a must for a family trip, but I must say the people that work there makes it extra special.

We recently stayed at a Namaste, and it was a relaxing experience. The staff went above and beyond with their friendliness, making the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The meditation sessions and nightly fires added a serene touch, creating a truly relaxing environment. Plus, the breathtaking view of the city of Cartagena from the hotel made my stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

The place is very nice. Full of big plants and in an excellent location. Service is good. An epic note for the guys at the sea transport service and the people at the restaurant. The menu is basic and from time time, they don't have the food in that menu. P.D. having a Gold VIP badge is not worth there. Hotels/Expedia claim there is vip service, but the reality is different. There are no TVs....

Awful! It seems like they are not welcome at all. When we’ve arrived they started to record us secretly + they don’t even have a reception. I cannot understand if it’s a hotel or something else. Rooms are terrible, while they were showing us the rooms they were also recording our voices,WHY???

Would not recommend this place for international travelers. Only one or two staff can speak english. Stray infested dogs room around property. No proper management. Took them close to 2 hours to check us out and we barely made our flight. They can not provide you bill in english. Horrible management
