This place is great: very conveniently located walking distance to the beach and airport. The room was clean and had air conditioning and WiFi. You could see animals right out the door including an iguana in the garden area, scarlet macaw flying overhead and a sloth down the road. Great price. Will be back!

We weren't supposed to remain for 2 nights but ended up staying 5! We greatly enjoyed having access to the common kitchen. Our room was small but adequate. Strong AC and wifi. We had a nice little private sitting area and an outdoor restroom. The owner, Mark, was very helpful in helping us plan and organize activities and recommending restaurants, eating. The garden area is beautiful. Tons of hummingbirds, macaws, and iguanas. There are also free bikes to use. Would love to return!.

We enjoyed our stay at the tropical cabins. When we arrived, Ashley was a very kind welcome and gave us some helpful information. The ferry dock is nearby and there are many restaurants and pubs nearby. The rooms with their own outdoor shower are lovely. Not enormous, but very clean and comfortable. There is a shared kitchen area and the property holds your luggage in case you make a lot of trips to Coronado National Park.

This place is highly advised, and this is my first time staying in Puerto Jimenez. During my recent visit there, I discovered this hidden treasure. The tropical cabins are immaculate, and the mattresses are incredibly comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and it was nice and hot. A communal kitchen was a great plus, being well-organized and spotless. The owner was available to answer queries. I, on the other hand, was comfortable in this hot city.

In my opinion, marks place is a good choice. If you want to go to the park in Puerto jimenez, it is the best location. There aren't many permissions to enter the park, so make sure to ask for them before you leave. I would recommend Mark Place and would love to return. The owner, marc, was really pleasant and helpful. He is from Florida, so he can speak perfect English. He organized the entire trip to Coronado for us and made our stay a pleasant one. They advised us in many ways. Also, there are two boats that can take you to the siren ranger station. They have a bakery, a gas station, two grocery stores, and working atms. Because there are not many permits for entering the park, it is best to get them before you leave. The great place for us is definitely recommended. Don't forget your shoes outside, Lanka, the adorable puppy dog, likes to hide them. We appreciate your gracious service and advice.

The owner was relaxed. But at 5.30 am, when we went for a walk, he went for a detour and asked for our key. He asked for it because we thought he needed it to do his cleaning. When we returned, he seemed to think we would spend two nights outdoors and crammed all of our belongings into some plastic bags and cleared the room. I haven't had any ironed thirst yet he apologized and there are opportunities for mistakes. Other than that, we had a pleasant time here. When available, you can rent a free bicycle. Ask for an outdoor bathroom accommodation!.

The rooms were clean. A bit of a musty smell, which gave me concern as I am allergic to mold. Managed to sleep with door open (unit 5, very private) and no problem. Bathroom just steps away. My only trouble was not with the Property, but with the entire family that took over the place. They were not at the property the evening before. The next morning I went to make coffee. Every pot, pan, and kettle was taken over by this group. Inconsiderate of the fact that this was a “hostel-type” property. No way to move around. I was looked at like I was an Intruder! I was very uncomfortable. The other travelers were most gracious and kind. As was the manager. I would stay again.
