We stayed here as a couple for four nights. The price here was very affordable compared to many other places in Santa Teresa. The room was very beautiful with very clean facilities. There is an infinity pool and lots of longer chairs. Some rooms even have balconies. There is air conditioning and a refrigerator to keep things. There is even a safe to lock valuables. Free coffee and fruits are available throughout the day. The front desk reception was very friendly and helpful in setting up our transportation and activities. Cons The road leading to the casa is very steep and not paved. One just has to be careful. It can be tiring, especially after a long day of travel. I think this place is more for private travelers and families. When we travel, we generally like to meet people. Meeting people of our age was very difficult. Without a doubt, it is not a party place. Overall, I would recommend this location to families and couples looking for an intimate getaway.

I spent three nights at casa marcella, and I had a good feeling about myself even before I got there. First off, the location is lovely, and the views are breathtaking, as can be seen from the images. So, I could have my balcony and hammock inside, so I made a payment for the two-bedroom suite. It was well worth it. But most importantly, it was the people who really warm up my stay. I could go on for a while, andre went above and beyond at every step, and Carlotta gave me an amazing yoga lesson, and I received a wonderful massage. I'm sorry, I'm not sure the massager's name. It does not and shouldn't go unnoticed because everybody was so considerate. Look no further and reserve Casa marcella right away if you're looking for lodging in San Antonio Teresa! Once more, many thanks to André, Jessie, and the employees for my excellent stay.

Our stay at Casa marcella was a fantastic experience. If I could, I would give them 10 stars. The casa is on a steep hill, which most vehicles cannot climb, so it's important to keep in mind. So, bring light or ask a small taxi to carry you up and down with your luggage. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Their entire staff greeted us with enthusiasm and fresh coconut water straight from the coconut as we arrived very late at night after an entire day of travel, and then proceeded to make us feel welcome by guiding us through our rooms. I rented out the entire hotel for my sisters destination wedding for which they hosted the reception. For the rest of our stay, the staff assisted our entire group plan excursions, rentals, and restaurant reservations. Overall, they made our visit very comfortable and smooth. The cleaning staff cleaned the rooms daily and kept them tidy.

After our first visit four years ago, my wife and I went back to Casa Marcella. As we set out on our subsequent trip, our expectations were high. Our first experience at Casa Marcella was vivid in its quality, including welcoming hospitality, spotless rooms, and open areas in a stunning setting. The grocery store and several top-notch restaurants are conveniently close by, and we appreciate their conveniences. Yet, we are far enough from the hustle and bustle to have a private retreat. We value this sense of secrecy and quiet after a long trip. Although the hotel was completely booked during our stay, it never felt overcrowded. We truly love Santa Teresa, and we intend to return frequently in the upcoming years. Because Casa marcella and the hotel truly enrich our experience, we will never hesitate to book our accommodations.

The pros were the cute, quiet, little getaway hotel above the main road just as you enter Santa Teresa. There is a convenient walk to everything, although a bit uphill. Beautiful pool and sea views. Beautiful yoga deck where you can book a massage at quite common American prices. The very friendly staff helps you feel at home. The cute little monkeys live right in the trees above the stairs and you can sometimes see them from the pool deck. The cons the beds were so hard, I needed that massage more than anywhere I have been in Costa Rich so far. The and bed creeks very loudly every time someone turns, so I woke up a dozen times a night when my friend moved around. For a hotel claiming to be all about relaxation and comfort, we didn't sleep well at all. Currently looking forward to a good nights sleep when we leave. And there isn't much else to do in the rooms with no internet and poor internet. What you might now know is that they say they recommend an ex to get here, but that actually means a regular shuttle won't go up here. For an elderly or someone with mobility issues, it probably is also too tough of a walk, particularly on the slick gravel section.
