Moises has been giving my wife and I excellent service! He is a natural and we can tell that he loves people and truly cares about their experience. Even though it is raining today, he helped us forget about the weather. The whole staff has been very accommodating. We are having an amazing time and we highly recommend this hotel! We will definitely return the next time we are in Manuel Antonio!

An absolutely stunning property! We saw so much wildlife and completely enjoyed the grounds. Moses that works the restaurants, is a complete treasure! He was super helpful and very knowledgeable. Very close to the park and beaches. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

I love my stay at this hotel and my visit to Manuel Antonio. Not only the rooms and premises of the hotel are beautiful but the staff is amazing. Moises, Alyson, all, thanks a lot for your hospitality! They were also flexible with my check in time and changing my room type, which I appreciate a lot !!

Ecotica was beautiful integrated into the jungle, very nice pool lounge area, the breakfast and bar were amazing, and the rooms very comfortable and clean. This is away from the Manuel antonio downtown area which was much nicer and peaceful. Would definitely come back.

The rooms were very clean and the property was beautiful, there is a lot of wildlife to watch in the mornings monkeys, tucans, tons of birds, and even a sloth.

Loved staying at Ecotico for a weekend. Gorgeous campus, very nice staff, excellent breakfast. My daughter and I enjoyed the spa that fit is in last minute. After getting caught in the rain a staffer very kindly ran our clothes through the dryer. Would stay here again.

Tropical Paradise at Ecotica Boutique Hotel If you are looking for an authentic and intimate Costa Rican experience, Ecotica Boutique Hotel in Manuel Antonio is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like "hotel guests" and more like welcomed friends in a private jungle sanctuary. The staff here truly understands the "Pura Vida" spirit. Every interaction was marked by genuine warmth and a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude. One of the most magical parts of staying at Ecotica is that you don't even have to leave the property to see Costa Rica’s famous residents. The hotel is beautifully integrated into the rainforest, and we were treated to daily visits from: • Monkeys: Playful capuchin and squirrel monkeys • Birds: Stunning scarlet macaws and toucans adding vibrant splashes of color to the canopy.  The Highlight, Spa Services by Maria While the entire stay was fantastic, the absolute standout experience was the spa. Specifically, you must book a session with Maria. Her technique is incredible—easily one of the best massages I have ever had. Maria has a gift for finding every bit of tension and melting it away. Combined with the sounds of the jungle is absolutely incredible! Highly recommend Ecotica!

Clean rooms in a great location. Beautiful resort hotel. Great massage in the spa from Maria. Highly recommend the outdoor shower after. Good restaurants nearby, within walking distance. Too far to walk to the beach (but that was OK since we rented a car).

We stayed in one of 7 bungalows which was fabulous. Some of the rooms were directly onto the road, whereas all the bungalows were tucked away at the back, near the swimming pool and close to the forest gardens with it's daily dose of wildlife. The rooms were kept beautifully clean and it was lovely having dressing gowns to lounge around in. Shame no sun on the terrace, but the rooms were always cool... Every afternoon about 4pm came the wildlife show. Each day different, whether it was capuchin monkeys or macaws, howler monkeys or toucans, we always made sure we were there ready with our binoculars and camera.

This was an amazing resort. The pool is warm and shaded and comfortable and a great respite from the heat. The best part of the day is evening (around 4:30 to 5:30pm) when the animals come out to play at the pool. Highly recommend lounging at the pool before sunset to see the birds, monkeys and occasional deer! Rooms are great and the access to YOLO, the bar/restaurant next door and the pool bar/resto, is great for breakfast (breakfast was included in our booking), pool side drinks and snacks (there was a 2 for 1 cocktails happy hour from 3-6), and dinner in the main resto. Our kids (12 and 15) also enjoyed playing pool and the numerous games available at the resto area. Rooms were great with great AC which was essential in Manuel Antonio. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would consider staying here again if we were to return to MA.
