Allison at the reception and Moises at La Pola went above and beyond and provided a great experience at their hotel. The place is very well maintained and the bungalows are superb! Highly recommend this if visiting this area. Capucchino monkeys were around to give us a great welcome!

We loved our stay here! First, the location is PERFECT!!! close to cafe Emilio and the beaches. The room was super clean and nice and the bed was so comfy! We also loved the breakfast in the morning and eating by the pool. When I needed help with something, everyone at the desk was very friendly and helpful. We also got our clothes washed and they came out great. My only complain is the restaurant attached "yolo" is very tacky and almost hinders the luxury and vibes of Ecotica.

Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated the breakfast staff member. He was consistently friendly and warm, and the chefs for both breakfast and dinner—everything was exceptional, including a homemade blue cheese dressing that was outstanding. The breakfast potatoes were absolutely delicious. I was also very grateful for the front desk team’s help on 6/17. I was feeling stressed because I couldn’t figure out how to purchase tickets for Manuel Antonio National Park, since they can’t be bought at the gate. I couldn’t complete the checkout process on my own, but the front desk employee patiently assisted me and made everything so much easier. I truly appreciated the support.

What stood out to us was how clean everything was—the room, pool, and hallways were spotless. We had an amazing stay, and it’s conveniently located just a short drive from the Quepos Malecón area and Manuel Antonio National Park.

Staff was great. Rooms cleaned every day. Near plenty of food and attractions. Manuel Antonio National Park, the Marina with plenty of excursions. Good food on property as well. Free breakfast definitely worth it. My guy Moises was a pleasure to meet at the Hotel as well. Overall staff was amazing, but he deserves a special shout out. Makes greet drinks and super good guy

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Omdat ik wat minder mobiel ben en diverse kamers en het restaurant en zwembad alleen per trap te bereiken zijn, werd ons een upgrade aangeboden naar een beter bereikbare kamer: een via vrijwel vlakke paden bereikbare bungalow, en dat zonder bijbetaling. Een heel vriendelijk en zeer gewaardeerd aanbod. Prima ontbijt. Helaas hebben we geen ara's of toekans gezien, wel een groot aantal doodshoofdaapjes pal bij ons balkon. Het hotel heeft twee restaurants, maar mocht je eens iets anders willen, dan is er keuze uit diverse restaurants op minder dan 5 minuten lopen. Fijne plek

Our stay at Ecotica was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by nature, and offers an unforgettable Costa Rican experience. We loved seeing wildlife around the property, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. The only disappointing part of our visit was our experience at the YOLO restaurant. Unfortunately, we encountered a waiter who was quite rude and made us feel unwelcome. He rolled his eyes when we asked questions and when we requested recommendations, which left a negative impression. The service we received there did not reflect the excellent hospitality we experienced throughout the rest of the hotel. Despite this unpleasant experience at the restaurant, everything else about Ecotica was outstanding. The property, atmosphere, and overall service were exceptional. We would still recommend Ecotica to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio and would gladly stay here again.

I am so glad we stayed at Ecotica while in Manuel Antonio. The location is right on the main strip, walkable to many restaurants, bars, and other conveniences and just a few minutes drive away from the park. However, it also provided a jungly oasis, with winding paths leading to the different rooms through the jungle, over a stream, and past lots of wildlife including monkeys, frogs, and tons of amazing birds! The staff were very friendly and accommodating; they greeted us by name each day and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. After our day's activities, we spent hours relaxing with drinks in the gorgeous pool area. The room itself was huge, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable, with a private balcony overlooking the trees. It's also worth mentioning that the attached bar, YOLO Social, was always hopping with great drinks, board games, and pool. We looked forward to coming back here after the day's adventures and would absolutely choose it again.

Moises has been giving my wife and I excellent service! He is a natural and we can tell that he loves people and truly cares about their experience. Even though it is raining today, he helped us forget about the weather. The whole staff has been very accommodating. We are having an amazing time and we highly recommend this hotel! We will definitely return the next time we are in Manuel Antonio!
