My husband and I just returned home from a long trip to Sand Banana, and it was an excellent experience. Although simple, the rooms are quite comfortable and spotless. If you're looking for luxury, try staying at Yang instead. We were able to soak up the gorgeous pool on the sister property just up the beach as sand banana guests. Both employees provided excellent and cordial service. We appreciate Gabi, Eduardo, Sergio, and Dorian for their helpfulness throughout our visit. They met our requests and assisted us with a friendly smile when we needed help with transportation. When we come back to Sand Banana on our next trip, we'll go back. Pure vida!.

I enjoyed my stay at Sand Banana. A lovely little hotel with great character from their hand painted murals on the walls of the hotel and in the rooms to the fantastic restaurant and bar area. Long standing motel in Montezuma. Basic hotel rooms but very clean with air conditioning and hot water. No complaints. Sister hotel the yang is a highend hotel with a great pool area at the end of the larger beach in town that you can use as a guest of Sand Banana. Great perk.

The service from Gabby at the front desk was wonderful. She also gave me a really nice feeling and was very friendly. Great value for the money. The room has air conditioning, the town centre is in the small town and you can watch the beach from the outside bar. The breakfast is amazing and very affordable. A place that gives you pure Vida.
