Amazing staff! They were extremely friendly and helpful. Both check-in and check-out went smoothly and they were eager to help plan activities and answer any questions. My original private transportation could no longer make it before my flight and the hotel staff was very supportive and helped me secure transportation within minutes. So grateful for the support and care they have for their clients!

El lugar estaba muy lindo, muy limpio. El desayuno muy bueno y tienen excelente atención. Nosotros ibamos tarde y el equipo se tomó el tiempo de escribirnos para saber si estabamos bien ya que estabamos cerca de la hora de cierre de recepción. Muy buena experiencia y sobre todo excelente precio.

Breakfast included and price was great, staff were friendly. We checked in 2 hours early They were helpful Love the view from road. But if we open the window insects were coming in apart from this it was nice

Le personnel à l’accueil très chaleureux, Fred, nous a donné des conseils pour notre séjour, visite, restaurant. Parle très bien l’anglais. Très bon petit déjeuner qui etait inclus dans le prix. Plusieurs stationnement disponibles. Terrasses pour admirer la vue. Les chambres sont très confortable et propre.

The hotel staff are ultra helpful with planning activities around town. They demonstrate a lot of care so their guests feel weclome. Choosing the room at the last possible second makes me wish I planned to stay longer.

This was my family's second stay at Hotel Don taco. I love it there! The room was great - the restaurant and bar in the hotel is convenient with great food and staff. The staff is always helpful. It helps if you speak Spanish as they do not always speak English perfectly but that is true all over Costa Rica except at the big tourist places, airport etc. The best amenity of the hotel is the resident dog, Paco, who we want to adopt every time we visit. He's wonderful. The staff is great and the village of Santa Elena very accessible from the hotel, yet its just far enough the village to be mainly quiet and gorgeous views of the sky and mountains day and night.

Friendly and accommodating staff, room and grounds clean and well kept. We felt comfortable and safe staying with our 2 kids and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling in this area. The breakfast included was great as well.

The wooden cabin style rooms, the staff, breakfast…everything stands out. Great pace to stay. They arrange and help all kinds of local tours and attractions! Front desk was so courteous and friendly to answer your questions! I will recommend this pace for sure as this will be my place to stay for my next visit!! Pura Vida!!
