Highly recommend this hotel. The property is lush and pretty. The staff is amazing, and speak multiple languages. They are also super helpful. It has a nice pool, (that is heated), with swim up bar. The rooms are clean, but expect a few friends. We had a cute frog and baby lizard in our bathroom. The rooms are a bit quirky, as evidenced by the photo’s. We stayed in the two bedroom villa with the mini private pool. The only downside is there isn’t a main sitting area, but having a private pool makes it worth it. The daily breakfast is really good, it’s buffet style, with different breakfast options every day.

We had the 2 bedroom villa with private pool and it was wonderful. The room was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was warm, we went to the main pool a few times and it was also warm, perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Our stay at Hotel Mountain Paradise in La Fortuna was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. We stayed in a gorgeous room with a private pool and breathtaking views of Arenal Volcano. Waking up every morning to that incredible scenery felt like a dream. The entire property is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. One of our favorite features was the heated pool with a swim-up bar — truly a hidden gem and the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The food was outstanding, the restaurant exceeded our expectations, and every meal was delicious. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. Every staff member was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay memorable. We loved every second of our time here and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would 100% recommend Hotel Mountain Paradise to anyone visiting La Fortuna, and we will definitely be coming back. Thank you for making our Costa Rica vacation so special!

We went for my son's senior trip and it was everything we needed for our family of 5 to have 2 separate rooms, our own private pool, an amazing view of the Volcano, a heated shared pool with a swim up bar and all the food, drinks and excursions that we needed were handled with grace by the staff. Highly recommended , and we will definitely be back!

Our 2 bedroom villa was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, A/C worked great and we loved the private pool. They provide toiletries and hairdryers. There is a small kitchen area with a coffee maker and mini fridge, no microwave. The only thing we missed was not having a living room to hang out together in, but there is plenty of seating on the porch. Beware the doors lock automatically when you shut them so if you are going out on the porch or pool make sure to take your key. The grounds are absolutely amazing, so lush and beautiful and a perfect view of the volcano. We saw so many birds including a toucan in the trees right outside our villa. It is a bit of a walk from the lobby to the rooms as they are spread out across the property. That makes it feel very private, but if you need help getting around they can give you a ride in a golf cart. We enjoyed the free breakfast and one morning we had to leave before breakfast and the front desk got us to go breakfasts (we requested the night before). The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant the night we arrived. The food was delicious but very expensive. There is also food available at the pool which was very good and cheaper. The pool water is very warm, it felt so good! We took Ubers into La Fortuna and to various activities, it’s a short ride to get around and very affordable. The lush, spacious property feels very secluded, yet is still just a 15 minute uber ride to town.

Room was great…pool was nice…didactic use very much because of doing tours. The staff at restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We usually had Anthony, Melinda and Gabby as servers (hope I got name’s right) I also had the Tropical Experience by LeAnn and it was above and beyond my expectations!

Personnel avenant, devoué, amical et professionnel, particulièrement aidant pour la planification des activités et des déplacements. Emplacement magnifique, tipiquement tropical, avec vue sur le volcan, sécurisé, accueillant et paisible, où il fait bon se reposer après les excursions. Bon choix de nourriture d'excellente qualité. Ni trop près, ni trop loin de la ville, facilement accessible en taxi. Endroit fortement recommandé. Un merci particulier à Adrien et à Daniel, de même qu'à Esteban, pour leurs conseils avisés et leur support constant.

We loved staying at Hotel Mountain Paradise! The view from our room was amazing, and birds were always singing outside our patio. The restaurant at the hotel was also great - we loved starting the day with the hotel breakfast. Pool was also a great amenity! Staff were all very friendly and helpful

Everyone was so nice. The people at the front desk were very helpful. They ordered taxis for us and gave recommendations on local sodas for us to try. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful property, great views of the volcano from the restaurant and walking paths to villas. Pool water is nearly hot tub warm, very relaxing. Grounds are well maintained and people are very pleasant, loved our stay.
