Omg Tama lodge was exquisite! It was exactly what I needed. A small hostel with only a few rooms was perfect. It was a very family type place. The communal kitchen and common area was great to meet others staying in the lodges Cristian is a gem! Such a great host. I really enjoyed traveling to Tama as a single 38 yro female. Tamarindo beach was literally 15minute walk. There’s no tvs or blow drier there so keep that in mind. Rooms were cozy shower was great. I really loved the energy of this place. I met some friends for life here! Loves it will def be back soon!!!

Le propriétaire (Christian) est super sympathique. L'endroit est conviviale, chaleureux et accueillant. Les chambres sont convenables et confortables. Les deux seules lacunes sont le manque d'insonorisation entre les unités et l'eau chaude manquante. Pour ce dernier point, je crois que cela est une question d'ajustement car, étant ouvert que depuis quelques mois, ils ont encore des modifications à faire.

This place is on the edge of a lot of undeveloped land but is close to the town/beach. The owner is European and multilingual. There's kitchen, which I wasn't expecting. A great stay!

We had a great stay here! The owners were super friendly and helpful! We also liked the location being that it is just far enough from downtown Tamarindo to walk but also be a quiet nice place to relax after a day/night out.

I Had a fantastic stay at Tama Lodge. The standard room I stayed in had everything I needed for a two night stay. The property manager was very friendly and helpful. It’s located about a 10-15min walk from Tamarindo beach. So it’s a great place to stay if you want some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo beach as well.

Rooms are basic, kind of dark. It's clean and quiet and the owners are super nice and helpful. There is a shared kitchen area. Great pool. But if you don't have a car or golf cart, it's a 15-20 minute walk to the beach.

Basic stay, more of a motel/hostel vibe than lodge/hotel. Pool was mostly used for outside lessons so time allowed in was limited and with our room next door this was noisy early in the morning. Fridge & a/c worked well, limited bedding, lumpy pillows. More of a budget stay being off the main streets of Tamarindo, but easy parking!
