Female solo traveler review 🪴🌸✨ One of the best things about staying at hostel chains as a solo traveler is the consistency in quality and service, and this one definitely delivered. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, and I really appreciated how well-organized and enjoyable their activities are (salsa and bachata classes, nature tours, etc.). The facilities are consistently clean, including the bathrooms, and rooms are cleaned daily along with the beds. Extra points for having female-only dorms, it makes a big difference. The space is relatively new, so they’re still finishing up some details, like fully equipping the kitchen. The biggest highlight for me was the coworking area. It’s beautiful, has air conditioning, and offers plenty of comfortable spaces for remote work. There’s also a lovely area to eat with a river view, plus a dedicated yoga space. Overall, it’s one of the most complete hostels I’ve stayed at. It has a social vibe, but it’s not a party hostel, which I personally loved. The bar closes at 10 pm, and there’s a strong emphasis on quiet hours, while still being very friendly and easy to meet people. A few areas for improvement: the Wi-Fi can be unreliable at times, the rooms can get quite hot (since the AC is controlled by staff), and there are limited vegetarian/vegan options on the menu. Other than that, I would definitely recommend it!

Viajero Hostel was a wonderful stay with friendly staff who were wonderful, kind and warm. The facilities are quite new and nice, nice activities and opportunities to meet others. Also offers lots of additional services such as food, massages and decent priced activity prices. My room was very nice, although a bit dim with the lighting and some loud machine noises at night. Besides that it was lovely, would book again!

The hostel itself was fine, but I had a serious issue with payment. I paid for my reservation through Expedia and was then charged again by the hostel at check-in for the same booking. I contacted the property through Expedia and by email but received no response. Expedia has opened a case and is investigating the duplicate charge. I hope the matter is resolved soon, but the lack of communication from the hostel has been disappointing.
