Beautiful place! The hotel is tucked up the hill on a gravel road that would be manageable in any car if you drive carefully. There is access to hiking from the hotel and nature all around. William and staff were very helpful and always available. William can help book any kind of experience you’d like in the area and has great recommendations and advice. Would definitely stay here again!

Volcano Gold Loft is a gem in the Costa Rica jungle. Our room was spacious with a beautiful view off the jungle, great A/C and comfortable beds. The host was phenomenal and assisted us in planning our daily itinerary. Every recommendation he made was spot on. 10/10 would recommend.

We LOVED our stay. The rooms have a great view of the jungle, they are very clean and comfy, and calm. The manager, I think William was his name, really took the time to talk about our stay and the do's and don'ts of the area. He helped us plan our activities. The road to the hotel is a bit difficult, easier to acces with small SUV.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Volcano Gold Loft! Rooms were clean and the view was absolutely beautiful! The manager William was super friendly and helped my family and I decide the best activities to do during our stay. He even arranged for us to have our own personal Uber driver. 10/10 recommend!

What an amazing hotel! With only 8 rooms, this place feels like home away from home. We got a beautiful room overlooking the jungle. We woke up to nature sounds and were able to see toucans from our window. The best part is the manager, Will. He made our stay unforgettable. We got tips for the best places to visit and he booked everything for us. I can’t recommend a better place in La Fortuna!

Great property to experience a local Costa Rican hotel. It was a bit noisy as our room was adjacent to the kitchen, but our entire family loved it.

Nice luxury accommodations in the rainforest. Great choices for breakfast and amazing views. Need a car because it is a short drive from La Fortuna. Owners are opening horseback riding tours and night tours so I would check that out for sure. Book your own massage don’t go through front desk. I went to aesthetic spa 1 in las fortuna. It was awesome.

We were greeted by Luis, who not only spoke very good English, was a super host. He spent time with us explaining the area and helping us with our Española. The room was very clean and comfortable the food was very good also. If we ever travel here again, we will definitely stay again at Volcano Gold Loft. THANK YOU LUIS!!! We wanted a hotel that had peace, quiet and was relaxing. This hotel fit our needs perfectly. It is off the beaten path, but not too far away if you have a car. You can be to the center of La Fortuna in 10 minutes. The hotel has blackout curtains, which makes it perfect if you want to sleep in! And a comfortable king size bed! They serve 3 options of breakfast every morning from 7:30am - 9:00am. The only downside is if you want a room with a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, etc. However, when you are on vacation, you can make do. Luis was super friendly. He handled the front desk and served breakfast. He bent over backwards to meet our needs. If your looking for a place to rest and relax, but yet not too far from the center of La Fortuna, this is the place for you.

We had a great time. Luis went out of his way to be helpful with tours, restaurants & general information about the area. The road to Volcano Gold Loft is very rough but the staff made it worth it. We would come back.

Superbe hôtel ! L’accueil y est chaleureux et le cadre magnifique ! La chambre dans laquelle nous étions était très spacieuse, avec une superbe vue sur la nature ! Le petit déjeuner est très bien, on peut choisir entre typique, américain ou continental. Je recommande vivement ! À noter : la route pour y accéder est une piste rocailleuse sur ses deux derniers kilomètres. Prévoir de rouler doucement, 4x4 recommandé.
