This hotel has some of the best views we’ve ever experienced. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning, the grounds are spotless and beautifully maintained, and the wildlife around the property made the stay even more special. We heard howler monkeys in the trees both front and back, saw green macaws flying overhead daily, and plenty of other tropical birds throughout our stay. The service was excellent from start to finish. Check-in was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast staff were always kind and attentive. The rooms were well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hairdryer, and a mini fridge/mini bar. We never had an issue finding loungers by the pool, and the sunsets from both the balcony and infinity pool were absolutely incredible. There is also a pool bar serving a great assortment of blended drinks, local beers, craft beers, and hard liquor available for an additional charge — perfect for relaxing by the pool and enjoying the view. Breakfast was good overall and fairly consistent each day. They served scrambled eggs, coffee, juices, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, and pastries and of course gallo pinto. The hotel shuttle was a great perk, running hourly from 9am–9pm to downtown Tamarindo and the Langosta Beach Club. We often walked into town, but the hills on the way back can definitely be a workout in the heat. The Langosta Beach Club was another huge highlight and an amazing included amenity. It’s right on the beach with a beautiful pool.

Great location and view of Tamarindo! The buffet was decent and loved the complimentary shuttle to go into town. Definitely recommend going to the complimentary beach club down by the beach! Great quaint spot and nice place to catch a sunset

We loved our stay at the Wyndham Tamarindo. The staff were all great and the rooms were spacious with nice sized balconies, that had amazing views of the ocean. The only negative was that the bathrooms were small and a little awkward. The breakfast every morning had plenty of choices with hot and cold options. The pool was great and well maintained. There were lots of lounge chairs, and we never felt crowded. We were a little concerned about getting down to the beach but the shuttle worked out really well. It runs every hour and makes 2 stops, downtown and Langosta Beach Club. We did discover there's a dirt path in front of the hotel which leads down to the beach. We walked it several times (only during the day). Took about 10-15 minutes, it's about 1km. Its still hilly, but much more doable than the REALLY hilly street. All in all, and great stay! And looking forward to coming back!

Primera vez en el lugar, y definitivamente no será la última. Está a 10 minutos en carro del centro, pero ofrecen transporte gratuito ida y vuelta. La piscina y el restaurante están muy bien, además nos encantó que el happy hour es por dos horas, bastante bien para pasar la tarde en la propiedad. Tienen muchos servicios y actividades, así que se pueden hacer buenos planes para la estancia. La noche que fuimos había música en vivo, pero no estoy seguro si es siempre. El personal es muy amable, creo que eso es siempre lo que resalta en un lugar. Muchas gracias por habernos recibido!

Our stay went very well. Easy and quick check in and check out. A lot of options at breakfast. The shuttle to downtown and the beach runs every hour and is very convenient since the hotel is up a steep hill. The building seems to be a little old but we had no issues. The AC and Wifi worked fine. Access to the beach club is also great since they have chairs you can use.

Infinity pool looking over the bay is 10/10. Juan Jose also great bartender. The ability to get into Langosta also makes this hotel 100% worth it even though its not beachside

We loved our stay here! Such a beautiful property - the views were stunning!! Took advantage of the shuttle each day, super easy, no problem. Beach club was great amenity to take advantage of as well. We ate dinner at restaurant one night, meal was great. Breakfast every morning was delicious as well, lots of options! Room was nice, spacious and clean - mini fridge was nice to have and the views were great too! Pool was perfect - happy hour was great to take advantage of. Loved being a bit out of the downtown core - very quiet at night.

Beautiful property. One of the best views I’ve ever been provided outside on a deck was at Wyndham Tamarindo. I appreciate how it is more “isolated” up on a hill, yet still very walkable/5 minute drive from everything in Tamarindo. The restaurant “Caviar” had very delicious options for food. Their complimentary breakfast was much appreciated and lovely as well. Pretty great options in variety and much appreciated in the morning. Overall, my stay was great and the staff were helpful/friendly whenever I encountered a few problems. I personally would stay here again or recommend this place to a friend/family member.
