Alojamiento bien ubicado y con excelente servicio. La habitación estuvo bien cómoda para dos y muy limpia. Recomiendo llevar equipaje liviano ya que tiene demasiadas escaleras. El desayuno era el mismo todos los días. Todo lo demás perfecto.

There are A LOT of stairs. Almost 120 stairs to get to the hotel or to your car. The queen bed was ok but the twin bed was kind of hard. I would not come back to this place because of the stairs honestly. Aside from that, the place was good for it's price

The price is decent. Room was clean. The place isn’t fully staffed after breakfast, but people there were very friendly. Breakfast was simple but good. Two main issues are that you have to bring luggage down and up a steep path with over 100 steps. My bigger concern was the chain link fence covered in fabric that obstructs any garden view from the balcony. As a point of interest the other side of the fence has some extremely high end accommodations

First, to reach your room, you must climb up and down a hundred flights of stairs. Just be aware of this. Unfortunately, we had to wait almost 15 minutes for the hotel owner. We could not communicate with the staff because we don't speak Spanish. The owner was a great guy , he gave us tips about the area. Unfortunately, the room was not well-equipped. There was not enough space to store clothes, no hangers, etc., just a bed, lamp and an air conditioner.

No front desk personnel to meet or talk to. Very poor signage, and therefore difficult to find. Yes - it was hidden. No hot water for shower - if the electrical wires going into the shower head was supposed to heat the water, it didn't work. May need to have some instructions, if there was some trick to get hot water. Website should explain what the parking routine was going to be - a chain across the entrance that needed to be locked with a padlock. Bed was OK. Breakfast was good. Overall, this was an average hotel at best. But it was OK for the price I paid.

ATTENTION !!! Plus de 150 marches à monter et descendre avec les valises pleines sous 35°C et une hygrométrie très élevée....limite du malaise, malgré un bon niveau physique. Dommage car le cadre et le logement sont superbes.

Unfortunately there are several properties owned under the Zen name. The photos on Expedia didn’t adequately represent Zen Zaru Beautiful. The room was very basic along with misrepresented surrounding photos. If you sat on the patio/deck, with the one provided deck chair, you stared right into a fence. The property is located on a hillside, amongst the trees, but the fence and common area are limiting any kind of jungle experience you may be after. As I mentioned the hillside, there are a lot of stairs to and from the main road and parking area. We were disappointed with choosing this accommodation.

In a nutshell It is a dump Be ready to walk up and down very steep steps with your luggage No hot water hope you like cold showers if you stay there Can’t keep your ac on if you step out. So if you step out and it’s 90 F it will be 90 F in the room when you return There is no staff to help with tours or basic needs, dining area is filthy. The big fountain at the bottom of the stairs has brown water and bugs inside. I found a hole 3cm wide on my front door. For insects to come visit me. The handle to the door and deadbolt are loose. I could turn the screws with my fingers. Parking is in a field, unlit with a chain running across two posts for security. When you contact them on Xpedia good luck getting a response. Also the phone number has been disconnected. No contact what so ever with the owner or host. I had a beautiful view of the ocean that’s the only positive. The patio furniture is filthy and falling apart. Glass all around the sleeping area facing the balcony with just a few curtains. Furniture in terrible shape rotting wood. I paid for 5 nights stayed one and ended up going to another hotel up the road. It was worth paying extra. Do not stay here it’s a very bad idea. The description and pictures are not representative of the property. They should charge cabana prices for this place. They should invest in a staff to help customers. Clean the place up a bit make it presentable. Invest in hot water heaters for hot showers.

When we arrived, the room we booked 3 months prior on Expedia was already occupied. We were placed in another room that was half the size and not good (cramped and no sea view which is why we booked the original room). Host was not available to resolve the day of arrival and has been unreponsive to multiple attempts after to see if she would compensate for the error and the inconvenience. We are very disappointed in her non response. Expedia has tried to help resolve but they had no luck contacting her either.
