Upon arrival we checked in and we got a room with a view on very small atrium and hallways. The view was not so important for us but our room was fully exposed to all people who are passing the corridors. So, during our stay, we were forced to keep the curtains closed all the time, without daylight, in order to keep a privacy. However, after our complain, very friendly staff offered us another room with city view. In general, the hotel had more than several good things. The location is very central. The hotel amenities were nice, comfortable beds, clean room. The breakfast was very good and staff was very prompt and professional. I will warmly recommend this hotel.

This property has so many beautiful details, and is located in a quiet but still central position of Zagreb. The staff are amazing, the porters (Bogdan and Tomislav), receptionists, chefs, waiters - they're all very polite, professional and pleasurable. Oh, and the breakfast is way too good! So much variety of Croatian's delicacies! We are coming back for sure!

The hotel is lovely. A converted bank building and no expense was spared. There is beautiful interior design everywhere you look. The staff is very responsive. We had an issue getting our room cleaned and one of the reception staff did it herself since the cleaners had gone home for the day! Our room was a bit dark which was a function of the windows in the original bank building. I think the more expensive rooms with bigger windows might be brighter. I would also suggest more comfortable chairs for sitting in the room might be good. However none of this really detracted from our stay. The location is also very convenient

What a great hotel! It was in a superb location, right in the thick of things. We were easily able to go to many shops, restaurants, points of interest, etc. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable. It had a cute balcony with a lovely view of the city. It was spacious enough for 2 people traveling with a lot of luggage. The room had an umbrella in case of rain (which nowhere else we stayed in Croatia did). There was also coffee and tea in room. The restaurant onsite was lovely. We had breakfast both mornings which included sparkling wine for mimosas, and eggs/ omelets made to order. The price for breakfast was worth it and the service by the restaurant staff was top notch. The latte was the best I had during my entire 2 week vacation. The only negative I can say, is about the cleaning staff that tidied the room. The bed was made poorly with the comforter pulled up over pillows left in the bed. Not all towels were changed out, there were no washcloths at all which was strange. They also didn’t leave additional coffee or tea in the room after the first night and didn’t take any of the dirtied cups/ saucers. Overall I enjoyed my stay greatly and would stay here again and would absolutely recommend it!
